Guy Id most like at this point is Samuel Jr.

I dont have confidence in our draft pick. I guess he could be ok as a backup. But if thats his upside, which I think it is, then the chance that he doesnt reach that upside leaves us with a bad situation.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Agreed. Draft pick seems like a slot guy. Ringo, Jackson & Ricks doesn't feel like great competition to me on the outside.

Could probably use a DE who can play the run as well. Loaded up with light guys right now

Samuel Jr

Amari Cooper, Nelson Agholor

Nick Chubb

Probably the free agents who interest me the most.

Shows how bad a huge part of the fanbase is for attacking him on this. He just helped deliver a Super Bowl and one of the all time great individual performance seasons ever and people have been completely vile to him over social media

They had decided they weren’t re-signing him and didn’t want to play out the year for debatable reasons.

Correct.

I always like ASJ but people told me he doesn't tackle well. We're at the point of the offseason where something's got to give

Wonder if we see Justin Simmons signed now. Seemed like they had a a wink wink nod nod agreement in place for after the draft but now after taking Mukubu I'm not sure that still makes sense.

Ugh, no to Agholor.

Sounds like the Eagles might have finally married talent evaluation and scheme fit together.

Agholor sounds like a really good idea now. Just moved to the top of my with list.

For some reason whenever I typed under the above tweet it would delete the tweet. Anyway, Joe Goodberry is a pretty good Twitter draft analyst and does these breakdowns each year for every draft class. He seems to have a nice track record. He loves the APR pick.

I wondered if we'd sign Simmons after the draft too. But yeah, after taking Mukuba in Round 2, not sure it would make sense unless they think he'll need a year to develop...which could be the case. We'll see.

Thank you. I thought I remembered getting a future pick but didn't immediately see it while going through the wiki.

Drafting Ty Robinson twice was a moment we'll never forget.

Howie played the top 30 visits beautifully. Brought in all those short armed tackles and everyone bit and drafted them higher, then got Hinton (JP length arms that needs strength), Williams, maybe the best traditional T sized player that is green and needs Stout work on his fundamentals but tremendous upside and then Howie grabbed the Rutgers kid with the outrageously long arms as an UDFA. Still think he was looking at those short arm Ts for their potential as Cs. For example, Mbow is same height as Kendall, five pounds lighter and his arms are 1/4” longer than Kendall. That sneaky accountant outflanked the competition.

Hinton went before Williams because he is a bit more refined but Williams is better clay, without question, than the kid from William and Mary and for his greenness, Williams was on the top rated OL in the FBS. The lowest ratings for Williams by the prognosticators were Reid (148) and Bugler (150). Only Bugler’s mock got him close to that low as a pick at 141. Howie grabbed him at 207. I was hoping for Williams with the Hinton pick, getting Williams and Hinton was awesome. Imagine what punch Stout can teach those over 11” hands of Williams and his 85” wingspan is only smaller than Etienne (BYU 86”) and, of course the lead on that went to Pierce with his 88 1/4” wingspan.

The value of trading back.

The challenge of drafting non-premium positions (assuming Campbell is actually an ILB)

lol Thanks

I put most of it together while on an 8:30 work call last night so I'm not shocked I have a copy and paste error or two in there sad

Well that's par for the course. You've been on an impressive run of bad takes the past several years that all end up being wrong.

What does this team need? Yeah let's get an old WR in here who every season drops passes hitting him right in his hands in big moments. You wouldd think Johnny Wilson already fills that desire for a WR who will drop perfect passes but then again, why not double up on that?

It'll be interesting to see if Williams works out. I get the feeling they didn't really want him that much but at that draft spot they just decided the upside was worth the dart throw.

This account puts out lots of good stuff but sometimes his phrasing is a bit over the top. He implies Mukuba was instrumental in taking away the slot dig or crosser but the underneath defenders were right on top of them the whole way. Also a bit odd to frame a play as "dead on arrival" when it picks up 11 yards on 2nd and 3.
