Cam Williams call. Howie was less joyful and more direct on this call than the others.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Some fans are apparently going to buy his merch through his website instead of going through the nfl store to makeup the money he lost

Yeah just posted on that. I think they had reservations on him as obviously other teams did as well. I think leaving school too early and not taking the coaching there that well turned many off. Also interesting they cut out the Stoutland conversation if it happened

I snipped this off of the NFL Network broadcast. It is from the draft room after they put in the pick for Campbell.

Howie, Siri, and Vic are all smiles.

Thanks I caught that live. Of all the things we know they loved Campbell and Mukuba was at worst their 3rd ranked safety

Anyone concerned about the lack of size/weight of our Edges? Hunt being the biggest at 250lbs. Huff is the same size as Hunt, but, you know, he doesn't play.

I suppose they can utilize Ty Robinson as a "big Edge/DE" type at times. But overall, our Edge defenders are small-ish.

Shows how bad a huge part of the fanbase is for attacking him on this. He just helped deliver a Super Bowl and one of the all time great individual performance seasons ever and people have been completely vile to him over social media

Why anyone needs to respond to any celebrity on social media is baffling to me.

Agree, but I'll say both Smith and Hunt set the edges well and stay disciplined in their assignments.

The entire defense will have to remain disciplined in their assignments, that's for sure. As a unit, they're more small/speedy than big/powerful. It's a passing league, but I'm a tad worried about our ability to hold up against the run.

Both Hunt and Smith were excellent against the run, as is Baun. With a potential twosome of Jordan Davis and Ty Robinson inside on run downs...good luck, running backs.

Here are the players still here from the 2020 team...

Lane, Mailata, Hurts, Goedert, and Elliot. (Pryor left and came back)

Key players acquired since...

Drafted D Smith, Dickerson, Davis, Jurgens, Dean, Calcaterra, Blankenship, Carter, N Smith, Steen, Brown, Ringo, McKee, Ojomo, Mitchell, DeJean, Hunt, Campbell, Mukuba, and Robinson. Traded for Brown and Dotson. Signed Barkley and Baun.

Impressive roster overhaul.

Yeah, Nolan in particular is good at setting an edge with violence - but the equal and opposite reaction has already resulted in some injuries.

Another schedule prediction. Final game of the season will be against Washington.

Grades are dumb. But here's a compilation of grades for each team and their Average GPA. Eagles come in at #5

They got to stop scheduling the division games to close the season - more time than not it seems to be a meaningless affair.

Too bad Shedeur decline his green room invite. No one would be talking about how long Quinn or Levis had to wait back there anymore

Seems like their personnel is more oriented towards a traditional 3-4 at this point

I tend to agree. Could be wrong but I think there will be some good surprises from his draft. They have good coaches who will bring the best out of them.

That doesn't mean they didn't miss some people but it will work out well.

I like it but they gotta do a better job of trying to match up the teams that will likely be top 2 in the division. Maybe just have the final 3 weeks TBD where it's not determined until the final month which division opponents are playing which ones depending on the records at that point in the season.

Definitely - 250lbs is A-OK, not sure if Nolan can ever get to that (nor would I want Campbell as a hybrid player to put on that much weight and tamp down his range/agility).

Maybe - I think I favor playing a set of division games in the 1st quarter of the season when everyone has hope and the other set in the 3rd quarter for those marquis matchups. You can put some of the conference games into 4th quarter to get those wildcard/seeding ramifications built into the schedule.

Albert Breer saying Campbell has two knee red flags and two shoulders. I wonder what's wrong with his knees. Howie didn't seem bothered by it obviously. This is the same team that passed on Metcalf because of a neck thing.

Maybe they were just tired by the end

Uche and Dotson should swap. 2 is gross for a WR and 13 is gross for an Edge.
