Ugh. I really hope Howie has good intel on all this. There's a reason that teams tend to avoid "medical red flags" and concerns, at least with their most valuable picks.

The issue with Milton Williams, and the reason to let someone else overpay him, is that it seems highly possible/likely that his success is due to playing next to Jalen Carter. And the best evidence o

Maybe they were just tired by the end

I think people are reading too much into the disappointment. I'm sure they were disappointed they couldn't move up day 2, but every team tries to do something every year that they can't quite get done. They seemed fine with their draft class to me.

Tbh I’m higher on Cameron Williams than Robinson. I like Robinson but like Sheil discussed on his podcast it makes me a little cautious when he has 5 sacks through his first 5 years of school then at 24 in his 6th year he broke out with 7. I think he’ll be fine as a rotation player and i like him but im more cautious.

I don’t know if Cameron Williams hits. But that kid should’ve went back to school and collected a nice NIL check. He’s 21. Before the Ohio state playoff game (returned from knee injury), espn had him at 28 overall prospect. If he returned and played well in 2025 at Texas then a chance he probably goes much higher. I’m pretty excited to see what stoutland can do with him. I think he might be able to make him a starter at some point. Plus side is he doesn’t have to do it right away. Can groom him and develop him for 2 years behind lane.

Yours and Sheil’s concern about Robinson is understandable. The data supports it. However, that same data pattern pretty much is the same for the last three years of Milton Williams’ career, and probably is the data pattern of a lot of other DTs in the same age cohort Robinson was in for the past three seasons. I guess we will just have to wait and see how it plays out over the next few seasons.

I forget ev’ry cloud I’ve ever seen—

So they call me a cockeyed optimist,

Immature and incurably green!

I have heard people rant and rave and bellow

That we’re done and we might as well be dead—

But I’m only a cockeyed optimist,

And I can’t get it into my head.

Here’s a question:

Of all the day 3 picks who has the highest chance of starting a game for the Eagles this year?

Mondon then Robinson.

There was someone on the old board that was a big fan of his. Can't place the name though

Also depends what Howie means by a "starter." Is Davis a starter?

I'd say it would include the top 30 or so who play 40% or more snaps, that is, have a major role in multiple packages.

I used a much more literal definition than you did. I like your definition better than the one I used.

What an absolute load of horseshit this post is, my goodness.

Seasons have been derailed by poor iOL play. Nobody gives a damn about CB7.

Also, get your snarky ass "clarifying questions" outta here

My your panties are in such a wad. Perhaps you should drop your trousers and straighten those rumpled panties up.

Albert Breer saying Campbell has two knee red flags and two shoulders. I wonder what's wrong with his knees. Howie didn't seem bothered by it obviously. This is the same team that passed on Metcalf because of a neck thing.

I thought he just had a shoulder injury but was healed

So we gambled on someone with 4 questionable limbs lol

Some fans are apparently going to buy his merch through his website instead of going through the nfl store to makeup the money he lost

I saw a video of him getting the call and he and his entourage dancing to celebrate (while on the call with the Browns), and the comments were mostly people celebrating God's plan, that the dancing was church "shout" dancing, that he is filled with the Holy Spirit, that this is God testing him and he's going to do all these great things for God's glory. With all the trash talk, overly cocky hype, telling teams you're going to dictate what they do, what coach they hire, saying you're going to pull an Eli and refuse to play for certain teams, spend extravagant money on your own draft day set in your house, expensive jewelry and all that. Plus not being prepared in interviews with potential teams, taking a personal facetime call while in the interview with a team, giving bad attitude. But yeah, he's God's chosen and doing the Lord's work! rolleyes

Yep, Walter Nolan and Josiah Stewart was my dream scenerio DT and EDGE.

Last year it was just getting either one of Q or Coop....so I can let this year slide (not to mention I am very excited about Campbell as well)

I was hoping for a trifecta of Nolen, Stewart, and Norton-Lott

Was that him or Deion though?

His other son joked about how he had to get an agent because his dad has been the agent

Howie said they went boom boom boom. I think Sanders, Ez, Taylor maybe.

Could also be Arroyo, Scourton, Femi, Beloton. Went within 5 picks of each other (50-54)

For me it was Sanders, Femi, Taylor and Bolton

Here are the players still here from the 2020 team...

Lane, Mailata, Hurts, Goedert, and Elliot. (Pryor left and came back)

Key players acquired since...

Drafted D Smith, Dickerson, Davis, Jurgens, Dean, Calcaterra, Blankenship, Carter, N Smith, Steen, Brown, Ringo, McKee, Ojomo, Mitchell, DeJean, Hunt, Campbell, Mukuba, and Robinson. Traded for Brown and Dotson. Signed Barkley and Baun.

Impressive roster overhaul.

Indeed. When the Ravens won two Super Bowls 12 years apart with a turned over roster, that was celebrated and I remember being jealous they did that while we hadn't yet won a SB. Howie was able to win his 2nd with a mostly different roster (Lane, BG, Elliott, Lovato) in just 7 years (and made another SB and almost won that one, 5 years later).

Tremendous job. That Reagor/Jefferson pick and national criticism changed him.

rstarter. Whenever Carr had a bad game, he'd claim he was in church and didn't see it. He was probably in that crowd praising his arm talent.

Because we are in the off season and the Super Bowl Champion Eagles visiting the white house is one of the few notable events left in the offseason.

But it isn’t football, it is politics.

Deion said the Eli thing and probably fueled the decorated set for draft day, but the rest were things Shedeur did. More is coming out about how he conducted himself in team interviews.

Was wondering if we tried to bring in CJ Dippre the TE from Alabama as an UDFA. Guy tested pretty well and has very good size and strength Looks like he went to New England

@HazletonEagle what would you say to bringing in Lan Larison as a TE to the minicamp?

Shows how bad a huge part of the fanbase is for attacking him on this. He just helped deliver a Super Bowl and one of the all time great individual performance seasons ever and people have been completely vile to him over social media

Take it to CVON

That's the name. Did he get banned or just stop posting?

Deion really did him no favors

I haven't heard anything about the brother though

What's with the fake southern accent thing he's doing? Isn't he from out west? Is he trying to an impression of a Texas preacher or something?

No this is football. This a football tradition for the Super Bowl Champion to visit the White House and doesn't have anything to do with politics.

Thanks. The more info, the better. Never heard of this guy but he is starting to feel like a sleeper. Could be our dime CB and a good one in the slot.
