The one exception is CB3. On some teams that is a 40% role.

On which NFL team is a CB3 a 40% role?

What you are saying and what RLC has said are not mutually exclusive.

Maybe, but I don’t think Howie is ever going to take a player they aren’t confident will make it to a second contract.

You could maybe use it as a worst case scenario option, and certainly Howie won’t fall into a sunk cost fallacy, but I think if they had concerns about him long term they wouldn’t use a first round pick.

I hope you're right! We have no idea about Robinson yet, though. Ojomo has potential as well, but we have no idea how he'll pan out with more snaps either. I can't foresee Carter playing 100% of the snaps on D again this year so we'll need to give him and Davis breaks....and when we do...??? we'll see!

One of the hallmarks of Fangio’s 2024 Defensive game plans was that he proactively set out to dictate the course of play to the opposing Offense. Imposing the Eagles will on the opposition was the name of the game. That was why Davis started every game. There were a number of games where Carter and Davis and Williams all started. This year I expect there will be even more Carter and Davis and Robinson starts.

I think Sweat is a good example of taking a risk on a potential one contract player. He wouldn’t have been a fourth round pick if teams felt great about his knee.

I find it comical that someone would suggest that he got a total (the word "every”) of five 1-1 reps during an entire week of practice.

Sure fire won’t make it to a second contract … yes I agree, but all players have a certain amount of risk of that happening. Milton Williams just had that happen, but I doubt Howie would have any regrets about that pick just because his Eagles career was only four seasons.

I'm not sure about rstarter, I just assumed he was one that didn't come over from the old boards.

It wasn’t a migration issue with him. He just quit the board in general after he finished congratulating himself on his evaluation of Carr.

He won the popular vote and ALL the swing states clearly we are all not crazy Saquan included, im fine with Jalen not going im still OG Hurts hugger. It’s when you call us NSDAPs is when I have a problem. Just makes me keep voting.

One that plays very little nickel and consistently deploys a 4-3 or 3-4 Base D.

Fewer and fewer these days.

Right, but he was a 4th round pick and also wasn’t a great performer in college.

I’m speaking medically. Obviously there’s no guarantee when it comes to being able to re-sign a player.

We need BB gf to step in after a weekend of hearing about Shedeur Sanders dropping in the draft, then the prank call madness and now the White House visit.

Anything less than 50% of the snaps is by definition a 'role player'. Some roles are bigger than others, and some are becoming more valuable and others are diminishing.

By that definition, the only starters:

Hurts, Barkley, Brown, Smith, 5 OL

Carter, Baun, Smith, Mitchell, Blankenship, DeJean, Ringo?

So 16 starters? Maybe Hunt?

I think you'll have a very difficult time finding an NFL team that plays their base D 60% of the time.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

What makes you think Robinson can beat out Ojomo?

Ojomo, Booker and Robinson are very similar builds and athletes.

All three are prototypical 3-4 DEs.

I know the internet is starting to wonder if he met her when she was underage

Then we are on the same page. I believe RLC is on that page too.

Some people let athletes and celebrities influence and dictate their own political views, whereas I, on the other hand, decide who to vote for based on whomever Antonio Brown tells me is best for the country.

Situational plays. In a play where you are sure the opposing Offensive Coordinator is going to call a running play, who do you want on the field, Ojomo or Robinson?

You may be right.

Goedert was 39% of the 17 game snap count in only 8 games. Dotson was 58%. Sweat was 59%. Milton Williams was 48%. Slay was 67% so Ringo gets penciled into that spot. CJGJ was 87%.

So 11 starters on Offense passed the threshold this season. 10 starters did so on Defense.

Avid golfers, Obama, Trump and Saquon. I can’t blame the kid at all for golfing with both. If some of the kind of guy Saquon seems to be rubs off on either, both world leaders, that’s great for everyone. This whole cutting people off entirely because of their political positions is bad for all of us. This oversized valuation of social media posters is also a huge distortion of what the reality is.

Polarization is the single biggest problem in politics today.

I think it's more that she met him because of his money.

I actually thought he was bigger, like the 310lbs posted by Nebraska was reasonable. I guess he either fooled me, or he dropped a lot of bad weight ahead of the combine.

I agree. I think he cut weight before the Combine.

The hole in the sweatshirt. roll

I love it when wealthy celebrities like him, Adam Sandler or Jack Black just look like bums.
