I wonder if McKee had the good sense to go. I want a good decision maker as my starting QB. This may be telling for the QB competition that is about to begin this offseason. McKee and McCord are legit. Team has options.

Rumor has it Carson Strong is seeking an NFL return.

His break on the ball there was pretty crazy

Graham retires and we draft a clone of Earl Thomas who also happened to go to UT…bizarro world.

What's the Eagles cap situation? We've mostly convinced ourselves that Howie letting guys walk was a good thing so they could lock up the core of the team. The Eagles appear to have done a great job addressing LB, so Oren Burks departure shouldn't be felt, but RG is a hole. Would that 2-year $20 million contract he signed really impact Howie's ability to keep this team together? Are there more extensions to come or are we just gearing up for Jalen Carter?

That was awesome to watch!!! Love hearing "Go Birds" with the WH in the background. Now they get to see the Declaration of Independence in the Oval.

Given that 30 teams passed on him, there's a real chance he's a 1 contract player.

How does that make him different from any other 31st overall draft pick or any 2nd round pick in any year?

Call it whatever you want, but the CB3 is playing more than 50% of snaps on every NFL defense these days.

Agreed.

Lost in all this is the character and dedication Sorrell showed….how that isn’t the topic of convo around the NFL is beyond me.

Yup. And no one even seemed to mention him waiting at all.

He got a nice moment though with the GB fans that were there after getting selected.

It IS OK to disagree and still be friends. Somehow we've let social media and yes, the mainstream media control the narratives to make us think we can't.

'Big Dom here today at the White House....he's HUGE...does great things for the Eagles...Bigly Dom...told him we don't need a wall at the border....just stand there with your arms wide open...he's a big man...'

Did we sign agholor yet? Howie sleeping?

I think there are more plausible explanations for those teams passing: He is an off ball LB (more than likely) on the vast majority of boards, which would put him lower due to positional value. There have been reports that he could start his rookie year on the PUP list. That’s another strike.

But I think the real proof is Howie trying to trade up to 22 for him and saying he was a top 10 player on their board. You can’t convince me that Howie would ever trade up 10 spots in round 1 for a LB who *may* be able to play edge who also had a likely outcome of being a one-contract player.

Agreed. In order for Howie to do that, he'd have to have done his homework on the medicals.

Interesting to hear that he wasn't a visit or that they hadn't talked to him much more before the draft though. They really kept their interest in him low profile. Which might be the only reason that they were able to get him at #31. They leapfrogged a ton through out the rest of the draft.

Love him or hate him, I think all football fans can agree with Trump that the new kickoff is stupid. And equally all Eagles fans should agree with the need to keep the Tush Push.

If Madden had stats for humbleness and humility, he’d be 100.

Steen and/or Keegan should be able to fill that hole.

Wasn't Ty Robinson listed as 315 or so at Nebraska? Sounded like his work load (Children's Pediatrics) didn't give him a ton of time to work on his craft/body so maybe he's not fully maxed out yet. What weight do we want him at ideally?

As far as Mac McWilliams goes Daniel Jeremiah did have him at pick 91 on his big board. PFF had him at 256, NFL website had 179, Bleacher Report 230, and Yahoo 219. So all over the place

Yahoo had Campbell as 6th best player

Lurie and Trump looked like buddies today. Love to see it. Nice to have a coherent president who actually knows the game.

I know the internet is starting to wonder if he met her when she was underage

It's more likely it was some sort of paid arrangement type internet site. She allegedly met him on a plane.

NOPE! WE CAN’T BE FRIENDS ANYMORE…

Honestly though it’s sad, I’m running for a non political position in my town and I’m currently involved in a nasty political campaign for it where I’m getting slandered and smeared because somebodies ego was hurt…and the head of the executive committee decided he wanted his wife to have the paid position and then illegally threatened me hoping to get me to drop out of the primary lol. Fortunately he was dumb enough to TEXT me the threat. Hello PA AG. If that’s enough to dox myself in here…IDGAF at this point lol.
