Judging by the pictures, most of the players didn't go.

Looked like good representation.

Not really... but at the same time, there is a minimum needed. But, a rotational player, where that player only plays a specific role but can't do other things isn't worth the same investment as one who does.

The reality that some of the rotation is done in order to keep the players fresh doesn’t seem to figure into your discussion so far.

For example, when the Eagles have had three headed monsters as their running back, Blough and Ajayi and Clement for example in Super Bowl 52 or Buckhalter and Westbrook and Staley. That decision wasn’t made because the players couldn’t do something it was made for other reasons.

How does that kind of tactical decision factor into your thinking?

5 DBs are 5 DBs. That's always been nickel.

For the purposes of discussion, hasn’t the DeJean role been called The Rover in the past?

Mostly staff and family in this pic, it's been reported that about 20 or so players went.

As much as I don't like politics in the blog, it's still not as bad as people bishing about Fing jersey numbers. I'd rather hear RTKs solution to peace in the Middle East or EagleVAs explanation of gravity than any of you dorks do a deep dive into the implications of a WR wearing #43.

I can’t wait to find out who my favorite 30 some players are. Hurts moved well up the ladder today.

I see Tommi Hill is going to Minnesota on a rookie tryout. Yikes. I asked a guy I know close to the program and he said all he knew was that teams were worried about his medicals.

Did Campbell already have the shoulder surgery or is he going to have it shortly?

I think I read that he has had/will have a minor surgery that could result in him starting the season on PUP, and then have a more serious surgery after the season. But hand up, I don't know what the h I'm talking about!

I'm glad the people who earned the right to meet their president and see the historic building if they wanted to go had the opportunity. It was the right move.

From Berman…

After going through photos, it looks like there were 32 players present.

There were 79 players who finished the season the team between active roster/practice squad/injured reserve.

STAR nowadays I think.

Absolutely wild if true.

For those thinking the Eagles did some huge disservice or slap in the face to the President today, I give you the Chiefs with the former POTUS. This should be a non story.

So he does take a back seat...?

A non political angle...

Did any of the high profile former Eagles (Sweat/Milton Williams/etc) go? Probably the first of at least a few opportunities they'll have to reunite with the SB roster.

Did Sanders play the NFL by not hiring an agent. I wonder if that left an option to reject where he was picked and go back to college for a year?

Becton was there.

It is my understanding that there is a date of no return where you can’t go back to college after declaring. I might be confusing basketball and football though. I think he has the ability to sit and re enter next year if he chooses. Which will result in worse results.

I truly hope the quote is saw wasn’t real. There was more, that Deion was demanding to attend the first team meetings to discuss the plan for his son.

The Chiefs players probably got tired of going on their annual WH visit.

I think the draft broadcast confirmed that, that door was closed. But the NCAA is making it up as they go along, so maybe they’ll open a window. There’s money to be made.

Are you talking about the short guy in the third pic? That's Tyler Scudder.

Nah, there was a guy a few pages back when they were at the tomb of the unknown soldier whose side profile looked like Elliot but he had a long ZZ Top esque beard
