But there's also that group of people here in CVON who voted for Trump and tried really hard to separate themselves from the typical MAGA cult because they wanted to be labeled as normies. This is the group that really worries me. I saw those same people spout off about Epstein and how they cared about the victims. Where are they now? I see one half in here cracking jokes and pretending to be above it all, probably hoping the rest of us just sort of forget about the last few years. The other half just straight up disappeared... like I haven't seen them in forever. The "normies" who now know better but don't have the moral backbone to demand accountability for some of the most disgusting and egregious crimes ever perpetrated upon humanity because it'd be a public acknowledgement that they weren't as smart or as normal as they wanted everyone to believe... when I wonder we don't arrest pedophiles I look straight at this group.

I don't think there's any difference between the two groups. Just a difference in how they present themselves. It's basically the difference between someone who identifies as a Republican (or MAGA now) and someone who pretends that they're an "independent conservative". But they're not independent or conservative. They both believe the same thing (meaning, nothing except what Trump tells them to believe in any given moment) but one's at least honest about being a POS and one's isn't. The first group just powers through it and doesn't even try to pretend that they're not just callously switching their position whenever Trump tells them to. The second waits a few weeks or a couple months and just looks for some small technicality that's suddenly "forced" them to side with Trump.

Seriously, I hear the "look at Venezuela” thing all the time. All we did was capture Maduro. Nothing else has changed for the country. Oil still sold on the open market though Trump gets to skim some of the proceeds for his private gain (grift). More is sold to the US but China still gets its chunk.
