Yeah the issue has always been that the evidence in those files is almost certainly of a circumstantial nature. Feds don't bring a case until they've built it to be rock solid, especially when it's someone as high profile as a former President. Any trumpbot trying to turn this around on Biden for not unsealing the files is 100% full of horseshit because even when there was actual concrete evidence directly proving guilt, they still cried all day long about rigged courts and vindictive prosecutors during the civil and criminal trials.

Trump has never been held accountable for his actions, so why would he care about irresponsibly wielding this theoretical list of Epstein associates - some of whom are likely guilty of heinous acts while many, most even, are likely completely innocent - as a political cudgel?

I agree. I even said the same thing during Trump's first term.

I think the more irresponsible thing was him getting supporters to rally to him around it during the campaign then backing out now. He never should have said he would or could do it, but he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions to himself or anybody else. For himself he does not ever think he'll face consequences of his actions, for others he just doesn't care.

Well there's no takesies backsies, and I think even he has accepted he can't run for a 3rd term. So now it's just grift as much as possible until his term expires.

He obviously doesn't. I don't think there is any list despite the binder photo op. I doubt he or Jr would be hyping up the release of a list they knew he was on. Was he friends with him? Sure, but it comes down to using it to get elected, and now that people have pitchforks ready, there isn't a list. If he had just kept his mouth shut it probably would have blown over but he put out two tone deaf posts and people are rightly pissed. I support a lot of things he does, but that isn't one.

Might be naive on the actual data collective but I assumed everyone meant the files, documents, etc. that got him convicted (with redacted victim names of course). I assumed all of the investigated work that got him convicted was legitimate

i'm sure there is a ton of evidence against a ton of people. that's what i want to see, not some list of people he claims were clients.

but hey, more importantly, i heard trump shut down a couple of windmills which will save the lives of about 25,000 birds. this is what we should be talking about, not evidence about a sex trafficking involving underaged girls and some of the most elite people in the western hemisphere and probably beyond.
