In a logical sense it won't. But Trump is hoping that he can just throw his base some kind of story that gives them permission to bury this Epstein thing and move forward idolizing him. So, he's shooting his shot.

But even with their goldfish brains, the base is being surprisingly stubborn about this Epstein stuff. Aside from the ones here...but they're just trying to save face.
