You mean the organization that made a big bet on Trey Lance and then lucked into Purdy?

Yup. That organization.

I would say Eli Ricks is shooting his shot, but I don't want the secret service up my ass.

If he is shooting his shot, I doubt if it would be a secret.

I think I shall watch the first Chiefs Eagles Super Bowl highlights and then immediately follow that up with the sequel.

I can think of no better representative of Philly.

That was me after the Pick 6, that was the point where I knew that defense would not allow that game to be lost

That Bradberry hold will forever be the worst officiating call in Eagles history.

Sirianni also should have gone for it on 4th and short in the 3rd quarter. I think that's a big reason we saw him make the ballsiest call in Eagles franchise history against the Redskins in the NFC Championship Game when they went for it on 4th with the deep shot to AJ at the end of the first half.

The good news about the schedule Is that I’m guessing 10-12 of those games could be nationally televised - saving me about $300 The Sunday Ticket would cost me - I can just go to a Sports Bar for the rest of the games

Agreed. The most likely location for the NFCCG is San Fran. They have the easiest schedule in the league.

Does it matter that SF is a mediocre football team?

AZ, Seattle and LA could all be better than them.

The biggest factor in schedule difficulty is the team playing the schedule. Philly is far better than Detroit than SF is better than Arizona.

Michael Irvin has DAL starting the season 9-1 and finishing 12-5. I thought people told me he’d sobered up??

True, but the paying happened in a past year not the current year. Timing is all over the place.

He’s getting paid a $42M bonus this year besides all the other stuff he gets during the regular season.

My only point was the Howie special is about manipulating the cap. Hurts still got paid.

Clearly they were all on their way to a MENSA gathering...

You are right $1.17 million Salary plus $41.33 million Option Bonus is the cash payout this year. My bad.

Not only logical, but also extremely practical. Only one other team shows up every week. I think its against the rules to schedule 2 at once.

It also means focusing on what is in front of them, not thinking about the week (or weeks) before and the week after the coming game. So yes, practical as well. That said, you know if Goodell thought he could get away with double headers, he would. Time for him to go.

💯

That Purdy contract is amazingly bad. I love it!

All three videos shot by different people. Each narrator uses the N word numerous times. Has the culture been dumbed down that much that it has to be used to much?

Yeah, a couple years ago I thought the 9ers were on to something - cheap system QB allowing a stacked roster. Nope, guess not.

Yes☹️

Agreed lots of words and numbers, but I see the loss to the Commies as a combination of unfortunate circumstances and suboptimal coaching … Pickett over McKee … understandable, but suboptimal nonetheless(opinion).

It's easy to explain away losses after winning the Super Bowl, but I wonder how quick we would explain it away if the ending to the Rams' playoff game was different. Had Carter not shut down that last drive with back to back monster plays, would we be so forgiving of the loss to Washington? Yes, they lost their QB and yes, CJGJ was a moron and got ejected... BUT, they don't put an asterisk in the standings for that.

The point is, regardless of the players, coaches or relative strength of the respective teams... the Eagles and Washington split quite often. It's more likely than not to be a split.

Out of curiosity... how much do you expect you would spend at the sports bar for those 5-7 games?

He may have, but he's still a moron.

That was never their goal.

They payed big money and trade value for Garoppolo.

Then they way overpaid to move up in the draft to select Trey Lance #3.

There's no way that they wanted to play musical chairs at QB. It just sort of turned out that way with their poor decision making at selecting QBs. And they just doubled down on that with Purdy. Purdy is a guy you'd be very happy to have as a back up QB... but at his best, he's Ryan FItzpatrick. And I don't think he's as good as that.

Probably around $300+ But that would include lunch/dinner 6-7 times, etc

I’ll probably end up getting the Ticket if they offer a discount like they did last season just because I prefer to watch the games at home. We’ll see 🤷🏻‍♂️

Trey Lance was highly ranked so the 49ers weren’t the only ones fooled although I would argue that they should’ve paid more attention to his having played only one full season of college ball. North Dakota State QBs have failed more than succeeded in the NFL. I feel for the kids playing QB there. Went from "pro style” offense to really a poor development place for college QBs. To the 49ers defense on this was Covid kind of derailed that draft.
