Use that No-trade clause!

This contract just gets better and better and better! Niners really did mess up.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Is there any news on the Eagles players being selected for the America's Game video?

My assumption is Hurts, Barkley, and Baun - the three players mic'd up for the Super Bowl.

When does the superbowl ring design usually come out?

The underlined part is the new rule.

It was mid-June in 2018.

The video for how it was designed/made and then the ceremony itself was great. Hope they do that again.

Absolutely, I agree and saw that coming as well. Some in here downplayed it.

Super deep dive into pass rusher metrics for those interested in that kind of thing

So who we trading for after June 1st? Not saying it's Ramsey just know there is a lot of these scenarios below out there.

If Ramsey is traded before June 1, the Dolphins would lose over $8.5 million in cap space and bestow a dead money penalty of $25.2 million. If moved after June 1, the dead money penalty would only be $6.7 million while saving almost $10 million on the cap, hence Schefter's note in the report.

I thought they took out the "immediately at the snap” and just made all pushing illegal. This is just BS to

stop one particular play now.

Figured Joe Douglas might be back. Honestly not sure the drafting was all that good under him

It wasn’t the best but it’s also hard to say how much of that goes to him. It’s also hard to say if the drafting process improved once he left or was Howie just on an all time heater the last few years.

Either way, he’s no doubt coming back on a reduced role than he was last time he was here.

Agreed, the drafts are such small samples that you can never be sure how much is skill vs luck. They won the SB so it wasn't all Pumphey's lol

Reactions to various posts as I'm catching up.

  1. The schedule isn't "brutal." There are long rest periods, and some teams with playoff records last year were frauds like the Packers and Vikings. The bye is well placed in week 9.

  2. They are still a stacked roster, and did a good job replacing the talent that left. A 2nd full year with Fangio implementing his defense and contributing to picking players, plus the young returning guys with another offseason learning from Fangio & coaches will continue a strong defense.

  3. They will have the #1 or #2 seed. This team is not satisfied, they are still hungry. They may sacrifice the #1 seed to rest for playoffs again.

  4. The league should be scared to play the Eagles, not the other way around. The core of the roster is signed for several years.

  5. They are not bringing Joe Douglas back, that's ridiculous. The 2017 draft when he was here was terrible.

No one downplayed it. I don't know what you're talking about.

I don't think they are going to trade for secondary help unless it's at safety. Ramsey doesn't make any sense. They want Ringo to start. I think it's likely a rotational pass rusher if they add anyone.

Reports are Morey is going to be trying to trade the 3rd overall pick for Durant. He just can't help himself.

No, the underlined part there isn't new. Well, if passed it would be, but that's the same wording as back in March.

It's not going to pass worded that way. Because it comes off as very spiteful and only targeting one specific play and one team. The only chance it has to pass is if they ban it for all plays. And the wording there does not show that.

I agree either way this 100%. It is worth noting that they currently do have two rotational pass rushers in Huff and APR on the roster.

I don’t see a trade for anyone happening, although the fake tweet about a possible trade for Chris Olave did raise my eyebrows.
