Because it's hours after the news broke and no details of the deal are out. Usually those details are front and center as part of the announcement or come out very soon after. And these are details given by the agent because that of course reflects on then as well and the job they have done as an agent. It's a low ball deal that Sirianni agreed to then it makes sense why the agent hasn't given out those contract details yet.

Wrong. HC deals don't need to be made public like player deals, which count against the cap.

Kevin O'Connell's contract details weren't discovered until a week after he signed his extension. https://vikingsterritory.com/2025/news/top_news/details-of-kevin-oconnells-contract-emerge-report

Ben Johnson almost two weeks after he signed with the Bears. https://www.chicitysports.com/chicago-bears-ben-johnsons-contract-revealed

I’m not completely torn up if the Tush Push gets banned other than I find it BS that other teams want it gone just because they can’t execute it as well. They squeezed every ounce out of it and got a Super Bowl from it. I also thought at times they were too reliant on it and it impacted their playcalling on second and third down. I think this will eventually lead to bigger plays on third down and short with more of the playbook open. And I do think they will still convert a high percentage of regular QB sneaks as well.

I'm late but holy F the whiners actually gave him a mega contract and a no trade clause

Love it

Never said they were required to be released. Just that agents like tongrt that info out quickly because it reflects well on them...if the deal is good.

He has done a good job coaching a highly talented team. He has had 2 of the most talented rosters this team has ever fielded. Still, it's not easy to win it all. It's not easy to get a team to the Super Bowl. He has done it twice.

Why would you think that's a possibility?

Most teams that win big are talented.

I hope the only thing Joe Douglas picks next draft is his nose in the war room.

I was wondering what this was about. I read that Howie and big Dom invited Ivanka's son's little league football team to visit. She/they took them up on their invitation. How Ricks entered into it I haven't heard, maybe some sort of player host?

Howie has found a great formula and process in recent drafts. I'd hate for Douglas to ruin it. Supposedly, Joe Douglas was a good in the Scouting department for the Ravens, but making him VP here was maybe like a coordinator who doesn't work as a head coach but goes back to a coordinator role and has success. Let's hope so.

He won't. Howie likes him a lot, the Eagles really seem to like and value him, especially if they're bringing him back. I trust them in this regard. I frankly don't get the dislike for this move.

Well 2019 was terrible.

This doesn't even include the best 2018 rookie, Joe Ostman

"Look Andy, no one in their right mind would give you health insurance coverage at this point. So we'll give you $7 an hour, a basic BCBS plan, and a $50 gift card to Culver's. Sound good?"

2017 draft was bad BUT I will say Mack Hollins and Rasul Douglas both turned into good players after they left

Douglas was around during the season, even on the sidelines pregame. I wouldn't be surprised if he was working as a consultant this past draft cycle and now is officially onboard.

That's what I was referring to so yeah.

I don’t know if I’d call Mack "good” but he’s managed to stay in the league.

You had me at Culvers ..

Carter not being on there with some of the other names is laughable. Brian Branch, McDuffie and Bijan over Jalen Carter?

Baun punching the air right now.

He'll be 25 by the start of the season so he probably didn't qualify

Because he's a troll.

It wasn't for WR. We just missed with JJ.
