Maybe just eliminate the regular season entirely. Lottery balls all the way!!! Results on the field are meaningless... lottery balls are way more fun.

The Angel Reese - Caitlin Clark rivalry has to be by far the best in sports right now. As I watch Ryan Clark and RG3 go very personal at each other's throats over it on Twitter right now makes me realize nothing else comes close in sports. Something happens every game between them that makes everyone just crash out and lose their minds. It's must watch TV.

If the WNBA wants to be treated like the NBA and get the coverage that the NBA gets, then maybe it should stop trying to turn a normal take-foul into a race war and common basketball plays into national and moral think-pieces.

The problem with the Clark/Reese rivalry is that it’s closer to Steph Curry vs. Andre Drummond than it is Bird vs. Magic and time will show that.

Yea no team is voting for this, literally every team in the league benefits from their players getting pushed for first downs or touchdowns. They're hurting themselves, the Eagles will just continue being great at QB sneaks like they were before they started doing the shove.

WNBA will never get the coverage the NBA gets even with Clark as the face of the league. She's a great player but let's face it.......its womens basketball. It's just not that entertaining, at least to me. I've tried watching games especially with Clark playing but I just can't.

The problem with the Clark-Reese rivalry (if you want to call it that) is the media and the goofy fans on both sides that want to make it about race. The ladies just want to play ball.

Given how far the entertainment value of the NBA has descended, I have to wonder if women’s basketball isn’t more entertaining than men’s basketball.

What a mess.

Plus, it’s women, and you can drive past a parking lot and see guys playing higher caliber basketball in their spare time.

Now this is a game changer

I’m amazed the success rate is 6%. That is one success out of 16 kicks. I expected it to be much worse than that.

Interesting trade rumor

What I don't like about the Lions rule proposal is it feels like a half measure. You're prioritizing teams with the best record first. Fine, but then teams shouldn't be guaranteed a playoff spot by winning the division, otherwise this rule is hypocritical. You're saying the best teams should get the playoff priority, but then you're gonna guarantee a team a playoff spot if they win their division at 8-9. Either go all the way with it and don't guarantee playoff spots to division winners with records that don't qualify, or don't change the rule.

In my opinion you are going a bridge too far. Under your proposal Divisions would be meaningless

Yes

In those situations what does the OC do?

How many of those situations are there?

Just stop trying to F the game up every year with stupid new rules and they won't have to do this kind of crap.

Cool click bait from the KC version of that guy who has the Eagles one.

Yup. The rare surprise onside kick has been a better viewing experience than the stupid new kick off rules and announcing an onsides attempt.

The worst rule changes are over corrections. They always make the problem worse than the original problem.

Is that whole channel click bait? What are they hawking with the clicks?

This doesn't even include the best 2018 rookie, Joe Ostman

The 2018 draft is inane, especially considered they just picked 2,4,4,6,7

Yes

You're not going to get the best candidates for that position if they are not allowed to call plays. Also, why does it have to be the OC. Why not the DC? Finally, while it has been done that way for many years it is not the only way it's been done.

Under the current proposal, divisions are essentially meaningless already. The NFL needs to stop breaking the game.

That'll pass, and it also makes it pretty clear that the Packers CEO is the other owners and Goodell's proxy taking the PR Hit for making the **** move of proposing a rule change before he steps down this year.

Changing a rule back to something you couldn't enforce properly 20 years ago because Frankie Luvu can't judge a snap. Unbelievable.
