Nope. I want to bow out of the discussion. I find it fruitless.

Understood. It fills the dead air that HE pointed out we were suffering from.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

It would be funny if Bryce Huffs ring button doesn’t do anything

  • Hello my old friends. Just stopped by to see how everyone is and to say go Birds!

Bryce Huff back with Saleh… he knows how to use him; pass rush only vs backup OTs. See ya.

I'm thinking about the three moves Howie took the most grief for.

  • Picked Darnell Pumphrey in a RB loaded draft - we won the SB 9 months later.

  • Picked Jalen Reagor instead of Justin Jefferson - he selected Jalen Hurts in the next round.

  • Signed Bryce Huff to a $51M contract - we won the SB 11 months later.

Please let me know if there is one I overlooked.

The ring ceremony is in a couple of weeks. Any chance he shows up?

So does Howie bring in a vet after June 1st for depth at DE?

To reminisce about all the epic moments they shared in 2024.

Honestly, I don't think so. Nolan + Hunt + Ojulari + Uche + APR. Don't think they carry more than 5. Maybe if APR or one of the FAs underwhelms -- Uche is very cuttable.

If anyone was wondering what took Cameron Williams so long to sign

Ringo. He’s itching to change numbers again I just know it.

I wanted him to take it his rookie year only because his name ends in O so it would be perfect brand building.

Anything related to Albert O

People keep trying to spend the Eagles cap space but they need it for their young D players. No need to blow 10mil on an old DE

I think he does. Starting just Smith and Hunt would be risky for a team built for a strong season. Hunt is unproven and Smith isn’t exactly a pillar of health. EDGE is probably the second weakest positional group ahead of only S if they don’t do anything.

Huff is getting traded?

Those are still bad moves. No one's perfect, but some of them are indefensible. Howie gets a lot of criticism... and a lot of praise. He's earned both. We praise the good, we criticize the bad.

That's the thing, though. Uche is cuttable. I'm not sure you can count on him or APR, especially if Smith or Hunt get injured. Robinson can take some reps there, but I'd love to see Howie bring in another Long type of vet. If things go well in camp with Uche and APR, cool. If not they have someone.

I wasn't forgiving the moves. Just shedding light on the good fortune that followed them.

Howie can be imperfect and the best at the same time.

Very true... and the good moves that counterbalanced those horrific moves have worked out really well.

I'm really interested to see 2nd year defensive players Hunt and Trotter, how they've developed with another year of coaching.

I had heard through the grapevine that the Eagles have been trying to do this for some time in order to try to set a new precedent for their contracts, but this was the first one to take the deal. In return for the salary guarantee the Eagles have a split salary in the 3rd year of the contract, which is not typical of drafted player contracts. A split salary brings a player’s salary down if he lands on a reserve list.

That's interesting that they've been trying to do it but Williams was the first to say yes
