That's not even him, that's CGI generated Saquon.

Nevermind guess it is him, but it looks really weird.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

When is Huff trade official? Thought that would have been done by now. Howie always sleeping. Still hoping we make a run at Travon Walker

Well F***! Here comes the curse…

So... EA didn't want to pay to put the Jaguars logo on the cover? Cheap bass turds.

I don't think I've seen the leap from that angle

I wouldn't hold my breath on Walker. You think the Jags would be willing to give him up for cheap? And do you think the Eagles would look to lock him up before locking up Carter?

I hope there are some signings around the league tomorrow.

Ah memories. I've gotten into a fistfight, blacked out and sang karaoke on that block.

Genos steaks are trash though.

Clowney confirmed.

Stinkston and Trash

Even when he had Curtis, he had Djax, he had Stallworth, he had Maclin, he had Westbrook, he had Celek, he made the playoffs only 3 of 5 years post-2004. He had injury problems, he had accuracy problems, he got benched for Kolb, he wasted Jim Johnson.

And it would have been 2 of 5 if Garcia didn’t save the 2006 season. I think Mcnabb was like 5-5 and Garcia went 6-0 to finish? And won a playoff game. How many QBs can you name where their backup came in and outperformed the starter, but remained a backup caliber player in the eyes of everyone else? Weird it’s happened to us twice

Wasn’t CMC on the cover last season?

Curtis and Stallworth were certified JAGs.

What is with this trend of people wildly overrating Mcnabb? He is the primary reason Andy never won a ring here

Andy Reid is the main reason Andy Reid didn’t win a ring here. Ya, McNabb had some moments, JJ’s D’s struggled often in big games…but Andy’s shortcomings as a coach and GM were the main issues.

If you go to Igglesblitz.com today you’ll see a piece by Tommy about Nolan Smith, with clips. In every one of them the Eagles line up in the wide-9. In one of them, Smith is even lined up outside Mitchell, who’s covering a wide receiver.

Correction: there is one play where Smith lines up off the LOS and covers the TE on a wheel route. That one was not a wide-9 alignment.

Thanks for that. I’m looking forward to looking at it. Here’s a question to everyone when one looks at Smith in those alignments do you consider him to be in the box or is he so wide that he’s out of the box?

Now normalize for income. The average person making tens to hundreds of millions of dollars over their lifetime should live longer than the average schmo.

Except when the sport is getting punched in the head over and over again I guess.

Basketball makes sense because it’s also statistically proven that shorter people live longer than taller people due to strain on the heart of it just because an addition foot+ away from your head or your feet

And then baseball has more tobacco users than any of these sports. Golfers are the least athletic of these.

Hockey is interesting too. Maybe the contact sports "mature” people better where they take it easy in their later years

Whoa, loss for the Lions

There's some data that head balls in soccer contribute to CTE, so maybe that's part of it

Sure. He was on the Madden 25 cover, and he was hurt all year. He's an outlier in the history of the curse being dead though.

Madden 24 was Josh Allen. He put up over 4k passing yards, and was 5th in MVP voting.

Madden 23 had John Madden on the cover after his death.

Madden 22 was Brady and Mahomes. No curse that year either. Neither team went on to win the SB, but both Brady and Mahomes passed for over 4.8k yards.

Madden 21 was Lamar Jackson. He played in 15 games and the Ravens went 11-4. He missed one game on the Covid list.

Madden 20 was Mahomes. 14 games, 4th in OPOY voting, oh, and KC won the Super Bowl that year.

Mahomes broke the curse. Since that 2019 release of Madden 20, the outlier is CMC's injury. The rest all had very good/great seasons. Barkley will have a 'down' year compared to this past season, but pretty much every season by a RB was a 'down' year compared to what he did last season. The Madden curse for this season is nothing to worry about. It's dead.

That's odd. Wonder if he's dealing with some personal issues

Those damn Eagles fans ruin everything

JJ's defenses also had to contend with 3 turnovers in most of those games. Teams rarely win playoff games when they turn the ball over 3 times.
