I think Howie would listen to fangio if fangio went to him. I also think jaire is a top end corner when healthy whereas Jackson is not

But Ringo just might be.

I really want to see Ringo get a legitimate chance to win the job. He’s so talented and still so young. We traded up to get him. He’s proven to be really good on special teams, he’s played decent in his few chances at corner, he was one of the best players on the best defense in CFB history.

At some point you’ve got to give young guys a chance unless they’re a total train wreck in practice. But everything Chris Parker has said about who is standing out in practice has always been raving about Ringo.

I think he can be an instant upgrade over Slay vs the run, and coverage wise he’s huge with elite speed. Maybe a little stiff in the hips, but we’re playing zone which helps mask that a bit.

I know he hasn’t shown much, but, I think it’s time to let him learn on the job and let him play through the mistakes because he has enormous potential.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Again my initial post was i don’t think the eagles make the move cause it’s too expensive and he’s injury prone. My point was the only way they do it is if fangio is watching ringo along with jackson and ricks and says i need an upgrade over ringo, Jackson and ricks as he didn’t believe any of the 3 were good enough. If fangio believes that then i think Howie would trust him especially afterwhat the defense did last year.

Again i never said fangio is going to Howie asking for jaire. What I’ve said was if fangio did go to Howie, Howie would listen to him and do it. That response you quoted was more simply jaire is better than jackson (When healthy) so i don’t think Jackson is preventing them. It’s more that they have ringo, jaire is injury prone and expensive so only way i remotely think they sign jaire is to a incentive based deal (highly unlikely he’d take that type of deal) and fangio (somewhat Parker) in practice haven’t been impressed by ringo

Imo i think jaire signs with buffalo, ravens or rams. Bills probably least likely since they drafted Hairston but they were trying to get a deal done with GB prior to the draft so im guessing they’d have some interests.

The comp is...Bryce Huff ph34r

50M is a lot. Explains why we couldnt affort any free agents this year. Lurie has a new focus, to cure RTK.

It's not a position of need such that the cost of Alexander would ever make sense.

And now for something completely different.

Down in all the vinyl I need to go through is my Dad’s copy of his first album. (Not the oldest vinyl I have, that’s my mom’s 78s from her dalliance as a Beat, not reporters). I remember him from That Was The Week That Was (the forefather of SNLs Weekend Update).

OK, but why mention him as a possible signing. Don't you know this blog is only for the expression of a uniform opinion. It's not a discussion.

Before the summer NFL drought (although at some point Howie will announce the rearrangement of the FO):

I’d have gone with Rudolph or Howard and spent the $13 million on TJ:

No surprise:

We should go get Watt and Hendrickson.

Don't be so obsolete about it

We should be trading for both Watt and Hendrickson and signing Jaire. Howie's on it.

It’s why i said i don’t think they’d sign him multiple times.

what else do we have to discuss right now in the offseason that hasn’t already been discussed? frankly been discussions on guys who have been release/available/trade that are highly unlikely to be here and yet people have had the discussion anyway. We are in the middle of June in a slow period of time.

All ive mentioned is it highly unlikely but that Parker is close with jaire that’s the connection if anyone believed they were going to do it (again they aren’t cause he’s too expensive and injury prone. yet still better than Jackson when he plays). Add on fangio is likely going to howie if he needs a bigger move

Stay away all summer and into the fall:

Another one:

No surprise with these two:

Like each of us don't spend time obsessing over our special interest, take things too literally and miss sarcasm.
