resident Blog Old Timer - "Jaire Alexander was born BEFORE AJ Brown, therefore it's impossible for AJ to be his father. Unless of course you were saying that Jaire is AJ's father? Which again would be a physical impossibility as they were born only 4 months apart, and a male's reproductive organs aren't mature enough to father a child at that age"

Brown must like him for a reason. Without checking I bet he is still young enough to have been drafted this year.

Brown who???Are you talking about Ringo?

If so yeah hes only 22 years old, 23 at the end of the month so yeah hes the same age as a lot if rookies, except he has 2 years of NFL experience💪

Well, he is having cash problems. 😱.

The motto around the Lurie household in these hard times is " Remember the Kash!”

APR's arms look long as crap.

Still would like another Edge.

Also saw a few people express the desire for Keenan Allen at WR.

He's an interesting pick. 16 sacks is obviously highly impressive, but he's got T Rex arms so can he really set the edge at the NFL level? And if he can't, does Fangio really have a time for a situational pass rusher-only player given what we saw with Huff last year?

He seems athletic and (reportedly) a helluva work ethic. So I'm rooting for him. Should be a fun guy to follow over his first few years.

Down in all the vinyl I need to go through is my Dad’s copy of his first album. (Not the oldest vinyl I have, that’s my mom’s 78s from her dalliance as a Beat, not reporters). I remember him from That Was The Week That Was (the forefather of SNLs Weekend Update).

I have always hoped that streaming videos of TW3 would become available, but the British slant to them probably makes their potential audience a bit slim.

One year rental Howie. Get’er done!

It’s why i said i don’t think they’d sign him multiple times.

But, but, but we don't need to sign him multiple times. Just once.

Not that I support that, mind you.

We should go get Watt and Hendrickson.

Two one year rentals? That may be stressful on Lurie. Remember the Kash!

It's an insult to Alexander

Interesting comparison. Similar APR is similar in speed and size to Hunt. However, Hunt appears to be more explosive with longer arms.

Brown has outplayed Alexander enough to be seen as his "daddy".

Any chance you can get a RAS side by side comp to Trent Cole. I know their 40, broad and vertical were very similar.

I'm curious if anyone can think of a current or historic EDGE rusher that has succeeded with such limited arm length and size? I think his arms are like 2nd percentile. Kempski compared him to Huff which isn't bad but pretty much means "pass rusher only".

The work ethic may be what sets him apart from Huff. That and a hungry dog desire to make it in the NFL. $51 million has a way of reducing hunger.
