I'd imagine the chances are zero, but I wonder if the Bengals would listen to offers for Shemar Stewart. I don't see that situation getting fixed any time soon.

When I was a kid my Dad had a few tapes he would play when we were on road trips, one of them was beach boys, when my son was real little he used to sit in front of the speaker at my mom in laws and wed play beach boys good vibrations and hed start rocking back and forth on his hands and knees, lots of memories over the years listening to them boys.

I was partial to California Girls. And now I live with one.

Joe Burrow is the new Drew Brees. One of the main issues the Saints had was Brees was so good at passing that they just leaned into it; which caused lots of 3-and-outs and quick TD drives. Situations that continually put their defense in bad spots.

Because of this Brees missed the playoffs in NO 6 times in 14 years… and everyone kept blaming defense.

Joe has missed 3 in 5 so far

Misclassification is more of a primary carrier issue. I can’t see, absent some statute, universities not having to afford worker’s compensation coverage for players (not unlike what we see with volunteer fire companies). I also can’t see universities avoiding paying FICA taxes and withholding for income taxes.

The Athletic had an interesting article on Deloitte running the clearing house for NIL, which relies on self reporting on deals above $600. The author and folks he interviewed sees a failure to report and payments under the table returning.

The way they are trying to get around employment law is by calling it a payment for name and image licensing. The contracts are written to describe the payments as an advance for the profit the university will make off of the players' NIL. The only specfic performance the player is required to do are related to publicity events like media appearances. They have the player responsible for posting one Tik Tok or other social media post per month about the program. The contracts specifically make the student responsible for any taxes out of the settlement. They do have to continue to be a member of the team and cannot use their redshirt except for an "involuntary" injury or that voids the agreement. The agreement is also voided if they enter the transfer portal. It's like it is written with a wink and not to the player's actual job for the money. I think that is where the agreements are hollow. They are making payments for performance.

Deebo looking fat and slow.

The Bengals are quickly approaching being the worst-run franchise in the NFL. Stewart isn't even the one asking for anything above the standard first-round contract.

They've always been one of the worst to ever exist. This isn't new for them. Not sure how they ever got to 3 Super Bowls.

Jayden Daniels is one of the most annoying discussions because people take it too far one way or the other and never have an honest opinion.

He's either the best QB in the NFC or he's a bust who wasn't even good.

If he gets protected (healthy) and they keep weapons around him he’s going to be a problem. He’s a very good QB…Washington’s future is bright till Harris gets bored with his new toy.

It’s a miracle he lasted until he was 82. Same for Sly Stone, also 82. I note that Keith Richards turns 82 in December.

82 is the new 27? We only got 3 and some change years left of Iggy?

They’re like a bizzaro world Browns…they can actually find QB’s, they just don’t know what to do with them. Anderson is our Eric Allen (up till his enshrinement finally). Boomer is the Phillip Rivers of his generation. Akili was a disaster. Palmer… tangent based off Boomer > Rivers…amazing that Lewis, Fischer and Turner all kept HC gigs for so long. Dalton, considering where he was drafted you could probably consider a hit as well (that may be a bit controversial) also see previous about Lewis.

Eagles hiring some chick to work in the Front Office.

I always thought the Cardinals and the Jets were fighting each other for the honor. Cincy just can't let well enough alone I guess.

Supposedly Wilson wrote that on the glow from his first acid trip.

Quickly? They have been on this path for decades.

All 3 are at the top of the bottom list.
