What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Apparently people think Preston Tiffany is a rising star in college and had a big impact on LSU and Ole Miss's classes.

So I assume he'll be the guy that gets hired away in 3 years by someone else and the Eagles once again won't get a pick out of it. Maybe they should just tell everyone they hired the girl from that photo so NFL thinks he's a chick so they can finally get a pick out of it.

From Tommy Lawlor on Igglesblitz.com today.

We can talk about Saquon Barkley, Jalen Carter, AJ Brown or anyone else, but the key to this team remains Jalen Hurts. I thought this was an interesting note from Zach Berman.

Overall, I’d say Jalen Hurts had a better offseason program than last year. Granted, we had more practices to observe last spring, but he’s appeared more efficient and decisive in the three sessions we’ve watched. There’s better carry-over with the offensive system, which could be a factor.

"I’ve treated this offseason like I’ve treated every offseason, coming in and trying to learn as much as I can,” Hurts said. "Trying to develop that chemistry with the play-caller. As offensive leadership changes…it’s about depositing time into it. I’ve spent a lot of time. We’ve had some valuable conversations that I think will help us all in the end. And of course, (Kevin Patullo) has already had a mark on the team since (Nick) Sirianni and himself have been here.”

Hurts started slow last season, but played really well down the stretch. If he can get off to a better start, this could be a huge year for him. He knows the offense. He has weapons all over the offense. And Hurts has won a lot of big games. His confidence has to be sky high. Hurts turns 27 in August so he’s in the prime of his career. With 66 starts under his belt, we could see the best version of Hurts in 2025.

If Hurts can be more consistent week to week, we're winning 13+ games.

It’s a miracle he lasted until he was 82. Same for Sly Stone, also 82. I note that Keith Richards turns 82 in December.

The next few years are going to be like a mass extinction in terms of great musicians McCartney, Jagger, Richards, Dylan, Clapton, Neil Young and Roger McGuinn are all knocking 80 or above, guys like Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Bob Weir and Nile Rodgers are mid 70's.

Any chance they keep this?

Of course they won't. Who needs real turf when you can let players get injured on fake turf...

I am sure NFL players and teams will be watching the injury rates in that stupid tournament as a justification for why field turf is not good at that stadium.

Anyone trying to get tickets today at 10?

How the f*#% does a 14 year old boy get to be director of player personnel to two major college programs?

We should be careful about being holier than though. Was there ever a worse surface than at the Vet?

Deebo looking fat and slow.

Well if WR isn't working out they can move him to RT.

That's probably better news about Davis and Hunt but it's also not full pads.

He probably drinks virgin mint juleps.

Seriously the guy looks like the result of a teleporter accident involving all the brothers from Malcolm in the Middle.

Same in the movie industry. Mel Brooks, Eastwood, Redford, Caine, etc are all in their 80s and 90s.

Absolutely not. But it was OUR crap hole. You should know that first person crap holes always beat 2nd or 3rd person crap holes... as in: OUR crap is always better than THEIR crap holes.

The Vet had 3 opponents any given Sunday... the Eagles, the fans berating the opposing teams and the turf. Sadly for the very early part of its history (and the early 80s as well after the SB appearance), the Eagles weren't sufficient as an opponent to really make the other two relevant. When Buddy came, the defense really made teams hate coming to the VET, especially opposing QBs, but to only a slightly lesser effect, WRs.

Poor Wendall Davis.

Just consider that of the current, projected starters only 4 of 22 (Barkley, Brown, Dotson, and Baun) didn't start their career with the Eagles.

(I wanted to say 'weren't drafted by', but I know the accuracy vultures would quickly point out that Blankenship wasn't drafted. Even though his acquisition was a result of the team's draft process.)
