Of course the sixers would do it in a heart beat but why would the jazz??? Getting stuck with PGs albatross of a contract isnt worth moving up 2 spots.

Hes got the worse contract in the league by far why would the jazz have any interest in taking it on?

The rumor sas 76ers have initiated trade talks with jazz, meaning the 76ers called the jazz and say what we have to give you to take the worst contract in the league off our books, to which im sure the jazz laughed and hung up.

I mean sure the 76ers woud take that trade in a heartbeat but why would the jazz consider it at all

Reports out of Utah is theyre not trading up and are comfortable taking whoever falls to them at 5.

Now take that with a grain if salt as any " report" but I find that more realistic than the jazz taking on PG for the next 2-3 seasons in move that makes zero sense for them going forwar.

I've been thinking the jazz are interested in PG. The 6ers have said they intend to run it back with PG and Embiid.

Nobody is interested in PG, why would they be? Hes 34 in steep decline, on a max contract, only plays half the season, and cares more about his podcast than basketball .

Jazz arent looking for washed expensive vets, they didnt tank the last two seasons so they could bring in PG and suck again.

I understand your opinion completely. But the rumor is out there that they may be.

Breaking Bad. First because there wasn’t source material to work off of. Second because they stuck the landing and had one of the better series endings. If Game of Thrones didn’t have an awful last season it would be really close.

Agree with this…the chemistry between Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston created some of the best performances I’ve seen. GoT deserves credit for using the source material and bringing it to the screen so effectively. It’s when they ran out of source material is when things started going south

Reminder in the latest Kempski article how awful Carson Strong was.

📈 QB Kyle McCord: You can usually tell pretty quickly if a young quarterback just isn't going to make it. Examples of past players who got off to bad starts and then never recovered were Clayton Thorson and Carson Strong. McCord is not one of those guys. He made several impressive throws over the middle of the field throughout the spring, and seems to carry himself with some swagger and confidence. At a minimum, he is going to make the team.

He is mis-remembering. Strong looked good in camp and then couldnt get any pre-season playing time for unknown reasons.

The NFLPA would disagree with this sentiment. He's going to have a lot of pressure on him from them, and his agent to maximize his next deal and reset the bar.

Absolutely agree about GoT. The books probably featured Bran more than the show but they stayed with the approach of killing off characters, which I liked in the books. Then at the end, none of the killings were as abrupt,or shocking as in the books. Really did not like where they went when they got past the source material. Arya was the best Stark n the book and they flattened her brutal approach at the end.

The Wire and The Sopranos

Sopranos is in my top 3 all-time along with Breaking Bad, and GoT (at least the first 6 seasons). The order I have them in depends on my mood at the time… They’re all awesome.

I am starting to appreciate that SpaceX can’t say, "our rocket blew up”. They have moved on from unscheduled disassembly to major anomaly. Someone really needs to take Elon to see Stripes.

Given the structure of the Cap, as a percentage of total NFL revenues, why would the NFLPA care? Wouldn’t that be Reverse Robin Hood? Taking money from the lower paid players and giving it to the higher paid players. Reallocating the total pool is robbing Peter to pay Paul.

The rumor is that the 76ers contacted the jazz

Nothing says the jazz listened or considered.

Yea, it’s a real shame GoT just rushed and nosedived the last season. It was easily on pace IMO to be the best show. I still will randomly watch the Battle of the **** just because the cinematography was so good. The last few episodes felt like they just wanted to be done with the whole show and wrap everything up while also completely ignoring every plot point they set up for years.

Well, you've been focused on PG. The prize isn't PG. The reason the Jazz would be interested is if they thought they were going to add another star with pick 3.

Because they want players to continue to reset the market so the players below them eventually get better salaries. They don’t care how the teams will figure out to pay everyone or make it fit under the cap, they leave that onus on the GM’s.

But does a Jalen Carter contract reset the market for Thomas Booker et.al. or just for Milton Williams et.al.?

Is there a date for the ring ceremony yet?

The focus is PG because his is so horrible, im sure the 6ers are calling anybody who will listen in an attempt to dump that contract, move up 2 spots wouldnt be enough for me to fo that from what ive read the Jazz arent interested in that either

As for the rest of it the lakers tried to trade for kessler last year and the jazz said no, he had a pretty good year this past year and the jazz asking price for him in a trade is far more than the lakers are willing give for his services.

The other trade woth collins and sexton would match up money wise because collins has a large contract but again the jazz arent going to trade those two guys and take on pg just to move up 2 spots

They always want the top players to keep pushing the top, so as to pressure the teams into giving them a bigger piece of the pie.

It’s basically trickle down economics. They care far more for the top percentile than they do the bottom.

You’re in for some treats. Great shows, characters, scripts, acting. I loved GoT but they blew the final season.
