Social media really puts a spotlight on delusional fans. Saw one saying "Hurts is better than Mahomes because.." and the replies are listing crazy stupid reasons

I'm convinced you're Chase Daniel. Mike is just to throw people off the scent. All I see on social media is people bashing Hurts for having good teammates. Nobody else gets the hatred Hurts does. Delusional is right.

RB Season after 2000-yard Seaon:

Derrick Henry (missed 8 games): 27 years old / 937 yards / 117 ypg

Jamal Lewis (missed 4 games): 25 years old / 1006 yards / 83 ypg

Chris Johnson: 25 years old / 1364 yards / 85.3 ypg

Adrian Peterson (missed 2 games): 28 years old / 1266 yards / 90.4 ypg

Barry Sanders: 30 years old / 1491 yards / 93.2 ypg

Eric Dickerson (missed 2 games): 25 years old / 1234 yards / 88.1 ypg

This is kind of interesting. I always remembered the narrative that they were worn down and had disappointing years afterward… but they were all pretty awesome the next year if they didn’t get dinged up (Terrelle Davis…). Worst ypc of the group was 4.2, and it was 25 yo Dickerson of all people

I think there's been studies that show that there has been a drop off in production after a 300 + carry season. Having 345 carries is more of an issue than the yardage. My hope that the reduced contact the Eagles have at practice helps with Barkley's longivity and production.

I'm surprised. I figured you were in that group saying Hurts is better

I'm not surprised you pointed out the one comment on the internet where someone overly praised Hurts and you felt the need to mentioned it here and call them delusional.

I see it a lot but keep thinking otherwise. Doesn't bother me

If it didn't bother you you wouldn't have brought it here. The delusion is the people going overboard the other way but you keep being you Chase

I'm just sharing delusional fans I see saying Hurts is better than Mahomes. You're the one that replied to me

Also I have no idea why you mean with the Chase Daniels thing 🤷‍♂️

Zegras and Michkov are going to have some pretty amazing goals. Kid has pretty impressive creativity

I agree that BCS is better than BB, but only slightly, and mainly because of Rhea Seehorn 😍

Frankly I don’t think Better Call Saul comes close to Breaking Bad. And I liked BCS quite a lot.

Sadly, the show runners had their eyes on a Star Wars Trilogy (that didn't happen) and a deal with Netflix which delivered very little (3 Body Problem). They had the material for a few more seasons that would have given a more nuanced ending - Jorah and Tyrion's arc etc. But put that slop out instead.

It certainly doesn't help that GRRM has been in hate/hate relationship with GoT books and the fans of them for 10+ years, But he did give the showrunners an overview of what he wanted the story to be (even if they ignored some of it).

As for best TV series. Better Call Saul is far superior than Breaking Bad. Series 1 and 2 of Daredevil are also really good.; Andor had a filler problem at times, but when it was good, it was really good

If anyone wants to talk TV & Films, you can go to FYE and see us disagree on all sorts of stuff.

I've gone back and forth in my opinion of BB or BCS. I loved both, just comes down to if you like more thriller or if you like more character drama. BB had more "oh ish" moments but BB never had a scene or episode like Chicanery which was just perfect.

One thing I've noticed on re-watching is because BCS came after, they took everything great about BB but just took it to another level. You can tell just by watching Bob Odenkirks acting as Saul in early BB and how much better he was in BCS.

How did he narrow it down to just 10?

Yeah I don't think there's a wrong answer - they are both great in their own way. I just happened to like BCS a bit more.

Brown already got his. His contract runs through his age 32 season, I’d be surprised if they went longer.

Smith seems like the guy they keep out of the two. He’s younger and his style of play probably prolongs his career better than a physical guy like Brown.

My guess is that Smith gets an extension if he wants one in 2027. He will be 28 turning 29 that season. I think they will also consider extending AJ around the same time assuming he's healthy.

BCS was for sure the better show. Breaking Bad just had some really annoying characters.

Sorry bud I meant RG not RB I think it corrected for some reason. We lost Becton which given our alternatives I think is quite a loss.

You are right there’s different ways to view things and there’s a very positive stance to take and the reality lies somewhere in between the 2.

I’m not trying to be negative. We are still one of the top 4/5 teams in the NFL and there’s absolutely a very good case to say we are still the best team despite the changes. I’d hope and even expect our offense to be better. Hurts needs to take that next step and if he can this offense could pummel teams. I just think perhaps we are not maximising the window of opportunity we have. And I get why because we need to sign players like Carter, Mitchell and Coop coming up but still that’s not maximising the right now necessarily.

RG makes sense. I believe our RG pass blocking will be improved. Run blocking will start out worse, but I expect Stoutland will adjust and overall run blocking from the Offense as a whole will be better because Jurgens will continue to improve.

I forget the stat, but his yards before contact this past season was some astronomical number. It was something like 4 YPC. So yes, the workload was heavy but it wasn't a bruising season for him considering the OL kept him clean for the most part.

When you reach the top of MT Everest, there is only one way to go. They face five of the top 7 run defenses from last year and the smart teams were beefing up the middle. Thankfully, those teams aren't in our division. Our division opponents were the worst run defenses in the league last year and they didn't address it.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say about 1500 yds. Way too many variables at this point.

Interesting, especially given how much the Dolphins players disliked Vic

While I hope you're right about the RG blocking, I have doubts. We seem to have about eight guys on the OL whose primary position is RG. That's not a ringing endorsement for any of them.

Yeah I can see Jurgens improving so that’ll be a help (and he was already really dam good to be fair). Why do you think the pass blocking will be better? I get Becton was better in run blocking but run blocking is "easier” to pick up right?
