What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

The Eagles had 1556 yards rushing in the 7 games Goedert missed last season or 51% of their season total of rushing yards. I don't think his absence impacted the effectiveness of the running game.

I remember the argument was that Goedert was a big part of the run game but I think someone did the numbers and proved that to be false

Guess I need some Big Dom socks to go with my Stout University gear.

Very similar in size and athleticism to Seumalo coming out of college. Not as fast as Becton and shorter arms but I do like his technique. Wish he had a bit more junk in the trunk. I do wonder how well he snaps.

Good thought. I know they’ve worked him some at center.

He gets so much hate but he was fun to watch

With Goedert resigned you are still concerned about TE?

Yup. He gets hurt usually and beyond him i dont see a Y on the roster

Becton literally got All-Pro votes. He was a tremendous run blocker last season and as JR said, his play improved as the season progressed.

Assuming his health holds up, the guy absolutely has all-pro potential. We should have kept him in my view.

There is man crush over rater number 2

My opinion of Becton is based on a lot of observation. Yours seems based on being ****y.

Also I doubt Hurts throws that many TDs

I guess he will just have to survive with the multiple Super Bowl trips.

My thought as well. Furthermore, they should have a young player under development this season for the next and beyond. The TEs already on the roster are not rated very high and may be able to fill in this season. But they need to make a huge jump to secure the #2 position for the future. FO did not address the succession and IMHO is an oversight.

Calcaterra is not an effective in-line blocker but blocks well on the move. The Eagles motion him across the formation a lot, either in an outside zone or split zone. In several of Saquon’s big runs Calcaterra threw the key block. I’ll see if I can pull a couple up.

Bryant might be better than you think. He's better than Stoll as a pass receiver. You can throw him the ball and he will make a play. And he can block a bit.

Maybe one day we will get a 7 rushing TD game from our QB.

I don't see that happening. Although it is more likely he rushes for 7 than he would throwing for 7

I remember when people said Stoll was the best blocking TE in the league

Culcutera does not get much love here. I think Culcutera did alright when he had to step in. And he may be better if he has to do it again.

You misremember. He gave Foles two more series after the seventh TD and only pulled him with 9:23 to go in the fourth quarter. At that point, with the size of the Eagles lead, it would have been the heighth of bush league to have Foles throwing the ball. That’s the kind of thing a Jerry Jones might do, but I am relieved the Eagles did not.

Yup, I guess I did mis-remember. Yeah, if he was in 'til 9:23 to go in the 4th I guess that's fair.

Aside from the fact that it’s Cal, not Cul, I completely agree.

I don’t see why he couldn’t, especially after a red-shirt season practicing on both sides. He needed to get stronger, as did Steen.

Kempski had Keegan as someone whose stock was down after camp because he couldn't usurp Pryor.

Calca, actually, not Culcu.
