Carter could end up being the highest paid defensive player in football. Quinyon and Cooper have a legit chance at being the highest paid at their positions. If Jordan Davis finally emerges, they’ll pay him. Nolan is gonna get paid too, along with another likely Hurts extension. Massive backloaded contracts for the offensive stars. It’s gonna be way tighter than before, and they’ll probably continue avoiding adding/re-signing mid-tier guys. That might not be enough to keep everyone.

If all mentioned pan out to be 1st or 2nd tier at their positions no way to keep all of them. Howie will have to make some sweet trades.

Coop is faded and Brown is on the bar squirting whipped cream in girls mouths.

I’m pushing 50

Talent is kind of a moving target for the QB position.

I think field vision, progressions, and rapid, reliable decision making are a critical talent at the position. But they can't be objectively measured and they can be (partially) refined and improved. But I still think the aptitude for those things qualifies them as talents....no less important than arm talent, elusiveness, frame, etc.

He's up there for sure. The problem with Rodgers (and Favre before him, and others) is that we got so used to them post-decline that we forget how good they were in their peak.

Rodgers won the MVP in 2021, I believe? That’s pretty recent. I think he was a much better player than Favre.

If we’re talking greatest QB ever, I guess you have to say Brady because of the rings.

How I judge QB greatness (whether right or wrong) is by who I would not want the Eagles to face if they’re at their best. Rodgers is my #1 with Peyton being a close second. Brady never scared me the way those two did. Favre certainly didn’t.

That's an interesting perspective. Peyton was able to pick apart the defense easily. Rodgers could get the Dline to jump for a free bomb

Started my eagles leg sleeve today, 2 more sessions booked for this year, thinking about adding Foles catch from 52 with the Philly special play art, and I’ll be adding something from 59 on there, just wasn’t sure what to pick…any suggestions?

Carter wrecking Mahommes face but not sure I'd want Mahommes in ink. Coop as he's catching the int or waltzing into the end zone. The dagger wasn't really anything other than let's slap our johnson on the table causes it's waaay bigger than yours. I think the dagger actually motivated them to score garbage points but I digress.

Some rendition of Bauns pick would be cool too

Just rewatched the Super Bowl for the first time in a while…

It shouldn’t be forgotten we were 40-6 up with under 3 minutes to go. The end score flattered the Chiefs in a big way.

Do you remember? When Rodgers first started and at his best, he would hold the ball and use his legs to extend plays. Same with Russell Wilson. Not all that different than Hurts developed into after a few seasons. Mahomes doesn’t hold as long but has a similar method of play and word is KC is looking to bring back the speed and long ball approach.

Kempski had Keegan as someone whose stock was down after camp because he couldn't usurp Pryor.
