Thanks. Life is not fair…but we all know that. Just hard when you get kicked in the head with a reminder

I hear ya. I went through nearly the same thing about 2 years ago with my 55 year old brother in law.

Today from burying my 51yo brother in law who was a diehard eagles fan his whole life….lost a year long battle To cancer. Last words we exchanged were Go Birds

He said at least he got to go out as defending super bowl champ

Sorry for your loss. Life is too short.

So of course I used my left hand and tickled his palm. Happy pride month

So sorry to hear. My brother in law is currently facing his fourth cancer. He’s had throat, tongue, prostate, and now liver cancer. Open heart surgery too. We joke he’s a member of the silver bullet club. He admits he’s getting tired. He’s 86. Age slows the metabolism so he still has quality of life but, as I said, he’s getting tired.

51 is way too young. Again, so sorry.

Sorry man. My BIL beat lymphoma twice in the last 14 yrs. This was a far worse type and went metastatic.

My poor mother in law put her husband in the ground from cancer in his late 40s…and now her son. Lotsa ptsd in the family right now

Do you remember? When Rodgers first started and at his best, he would hold the ball and use his legs to extend plays. Same with Russell Wilson. Not all that different than Hurts developed into after a few seasons. Mahomes doesn’t hold as long but has a similar method of play and word is KC is looking to bring back the speed and long ball approach.

Wilson had LoB though. Rodgers defense wasn't as good in his career

Mahomes definitely hasn't had that kind of defense either

I chuckled at few seasons simply because I remember people saying 2nd and 3rd rookie season for Hurts. Certainly took him awhile

Not a high upside pick. Good athletic defender but still working on his shot. Not an ideal player to take at 3. Should’ve traded back if there was a market. Ace Bailey would’ve been the pick and had the most upside but is a head case and purposely scared them off. Very underwhelming but safe. Also have a logjam at guard if they bring back Grimes.

Dude was faaaaaaaded. When it started I saw him do two shots behind the bar in the first 30. Then did a tequila shot with my sister in law a bit later when he came back for a second round of signatures/selfies.

Call Nico, he’ll give away Flagg for next to nothing like he did Luka.

I’m so glad I don’t care about the Sixers. Sucks the NBA is so unwatchable now.

Once LeBron retires, I’m guessing Caitlin Clark will be the most discussed/popular basketball player in the country

Actually, my position isn’t to defend Ruggs but rather a reflection on how remorse, rehabilitation and likelihood of recidivism play a role how we deal with crime. I said it when the Eagles signed Vick, he had served his punishment, rehabilitated, showed remorse and demonstrated an unlikelihood of repeating the offense.

If you don’t know how I am about animals, this might not make sense.

But if Vick did ONLY what you described, I still wouldn’t forgive him.

What did it for me, and honestly Im still not 100% to forgiveness, is the fact he did a LOT of anti animal cruelty work with ZERO press (you really had to dig for the details) that convinced me he was genuine
