I don’t think DeJean has been home once since the Super Bowl.

I am worried that we will see a DUI in his future. He needs to slow down a bit.

Not now. Six offers some decent options.

I’m glad someone else finds him at least slightly annoying. His shtick is getting a bit old

I thought it got old a year ago. I think it’s getting really bad now. They had another video of that where he runs up to that stand and nearly knocks out some bystander with it while lifting it up.

I get that it was a charity event, but still. He was often compared to Dawk in his last year for his personality and leadership. And I even thought Dawk occasionally carried on a bit much with some of the antics.

But it’s clear that Dawk had a nearly uncontrollable intensity on the field and sidelines and, paradoxically, is a quieter guy who likes to keep to himself. Kelce craaaaaves the spotlight. I mean…that’s ok. Sorry for being a hater. I just think, in my irrelevant eyes, the gap between them as Eagles legends has widened in retirement.

I guess it's a matter of personal preference. IMO Kelce was loved because of how genuine he always was on and off the field. That can rub some people the wrong way when he does things you don't necessarily approve, but he's always been like that. He's authentic, he has fun and doesn't care about what people think.

Of course, your opinion is completely valid and you don't have to like him just because he's an Eagles legend. I like that crazy personality of his as long as he's a good human being.

The whole family has pretty much cashed in for their off the field career. Travis dating Swift, Jason with the pod and other ventures he’s doing, even Kylie has her own pod now. I don’t blame them for capitalizing on that. But they definitely always know where the cameras are at all times and know how to play it off. It gets obnoxious at times.

I doubt it. He's young but he's around a lot of good guys thankfully. Worst thing I see for his future is getting caught up by some instagram influencer

It’s for charity. Why **** about it. It’s at a bar. I have no issue with Jason capitalizing while he can (especially with Kylie in tow). More power to them both. I also have no issue with Travis showing up in Nashville with his less pretty GF for TE University (hope Goedert attends). My hope is maybe she remembers her country roots while there. (Anything to help me escape Lainey Wilson).

This. Most of it is in good fun, with/for fans - and for various charities at times.

Elite athlete and very solid defender. Has Wade/Oladipo comps. He's much better at catch and shoot vs getting his own shot which is probably better for this team anyways. Good slasher/crazy dunker. He compares himself to Ant. Grew up in poverty in the Bahamas. Said they had a generator but mostly didn't have electricity for about 7 years.

Back court Maxey/Grimes with McCain/Edgecombe is a really solid back court.

Think we need to get a bigger wing (Thiero, Fleming, Penda) or C (Kalkbrenner, Raynaud) with pick 35

If only you were our GM. What a disaster tonight was. Fire Dopey Daryl.

Country roots lol. She grew up in freaking Reading, PA. She was country pop for like her first album.

IMHO, still better than anything Wilson has done. I grew up in Houston at the edge of the city limits back then. (We were surrounded by farm/grazing land.) A lot of folk I grew up with my question what you define as country roots. She was supposed to open for Kenny Chesney but because the tour had a beer sponsorship, she was deemed too young at 17. Kenny felt bad and paid her anyway. She credits that as helping start her career.

Heck no! From 6 the only moves are trading up or staying put.

Well it’s interesting that when Kelce left, the offense didn’t fall off at all. The OL got better and I didn’t notice a drop off at all from Kelce to Jurgens. Obviously you have to take into consideration that Jurgens is also a very good center, Bechton was an upgrade at RG, and a stud like Barkley will make any offense better.

But when Dawkins left, the Eagles defense, specifically the secondary, took a step back. Dawk only had one good year in Denver before his body quit on him, so it was the right move.

That being said, I think Dawkins was the more valuable player to this team. On the field, and in the locker room.

Total speculation, but I’m guessing some players in the Eagles locker room found Kelce to be annoying and his antics tiresome. It could have played a role in the 2023 cliff dive.

Man, how the mighty have fallen. Your supremely subjective suggestion that 2023 collapse is on Kelce due to his personality is why players think fans are tools.

I care about players’ opinions as much as they care about mine

The OL got better because Becton was a better guard than Jurgens. I agree that there was little drop-off at center but much of that was how well Jurgens had been schooled by Stoutland and Kelce and the latter was past his prime. I do not share your speculation.

Opinions are one thing, unfounded speculation is another.

It’s called speculation for a reason.

2023 - the whole team, including the offense, completely collapsed

After 2023 season - Kelce retired

2024 season - Super Bowl champs

I remember about a decade or so ago when personal blogging sites like bleacher report and yard barker first started to gain traction and so many people saw "articles" from those sites and took them at face value, often reposting them here on the emb. It took years before they eventually realized that those sites had no credibility and that's exactly what's happening again now in the microblogging age. All you need to do is pay for verification and start every tweet with the word BREAKING: and you'll trick at least 50 percent of fans into thinking you are actually a credible journalist. Bonus pts if you use a handful of siren emojis.

At least he was an actual player. Dom's whole shtick where he's been trying to cash in on his 15 minutes is even worse considering he never played or coached.

2016 Eagles are 7-9 with Kelce as center.

2017 Eagles SB Champs with backup QB and Kelce as center

2017 whole team rises to the occasion because Kelce returned as center.

The whole Dom shtick feels like a spoof in reality

"Get while the gettin's good". In a decade people may not remember the name Kelce.
