How many Eagles?

Hurts, Barkley, Brown, Johnson, Carter, Baun.

Maybe Smith or Mailata. Too early for Q or DeJean.

100.

Domino effect....the collapse in '23 allowed them to be in position to draft Q and Dejean which definitely helped get them the Super Bowl in '24......I'm ok with that! :)

The collapse also made it more urgent to hire the DC who made a remarkable turn-around of the defense. The new players, by draft or FA, were part of the turn-around.

Tommy has a piece today on the "factory" and suggested LB will be another position group that will turn out good players, in addition to QB. Our OL is in fact famous as a factory for a while. Draft well and develop them. Underachieve vets would love to have their chance to attend Stout U. And indeed some got their "certificate" and moved on to greener pasture.

Biased but I don't see how Q doesn't get listed. The number of top WRs he covered and did well against should have got him in the top 100

I’m with Mike.

If Gannon and the Cardinals didn’t play the games they played, Fangio would have been the DC in ‘23.

Saw an article where ChatGPT asked for a chess challenge and got whooped by a 48 year old Atari program. Bet Grok would lose even worse.

NHL Draft is at 7:00 PM tonight! Big draft for the Flyers. Interested to see what they do.

Why not blame Cox? The defensive collapse was epic when compared to the offense.

Was Cox playing CB?

They will draft some big forward from Manitoba or Saskatchewan.

Way too early to tell.

Waiting a year was worth it. We have a loaded - and young - defense.

My guess:

Johnson, Dickerson, Mailata, Barkley, Brown, Carter, Baun.

I think Hurts is getting a lot of public pushback based on stats and how good the team was, though I think he should make it. Smith is a really good player, but his stats aren’t that great and he’s in a run first offense as the 2nd receiving option.

Sounds like something Patricia would do

Hurts is going to be in the top 10. He was #3 after the Super Bowl loss and #15 after the 2023 collapse.

Let's pump the brakes on that til we see it long-term. But the current/new direction is promising and refreshing for sure.

They'll rank Hurts lower than a lot of people would like, and there will be other guys ranked lower than we'd like, or slights left off the list altogether. Some they can't ignore. But the anti-Eagles bias will be likely evident.

Hagens or Martone

I kinda view Hurts as a better version of what some people thought Foles could be. Kinda blah a lot of times, especially during the regular season, but can play huge in the biggest moments. That’s a SB QB if you have the horses on the roster.

As long as Hurts has access to all his tools (I.e., he can still run), he’s such an asset as a tier 2 QB. We should feel fortunate to have him and not another "if only…” kinda guy” that so many teams are stuck with.

Because of that, I’m cool if he’s ranked the 12th best player or whatever. He’s definitely not the 12th best player in February.

Porter is a dark ale, very similar to a stout, in fact, often the terms are used interchangably. Porters generally use malted roasted barley, whereas stouts generally don't.

I think both are significantly better than IPAs.

Only an amateur would say porter and stout are similar

Porters suck generally

Theres the trade up…
