I think they could make it work cap wise. Even with the Carter extension coming next season.

But if I’m the Steelers I’d be asking for Nolan Smith and 2 first round picks.

Watt is one of the few defensive players in the league capable of winning you a game or two. Him and Carter on the same defense would be glorious.

The problem is most people in the league (especially players) are doing everything they can to limit their appeal by going after their one star player.

Yup. The WNBA has been handed a legitmate super star and they are doing everything in their power to ruin what she might be able to do for their game. It seems they, or at least the talking heads would rather downplay how good and how electric Clark actually is and try everything in their power to argue that Angel Reese is on the same level.

Just look at the whole flagrant foul thing a few weeks ago. People can do their own research regarding the controversy that followed, but it just seems they can't get out of their own way.

Caitlin Clark has brought a whole new fan base and they are upset about who those people are.

Some of the flagrant fouls against her, that aren't called, are nuts. The level of outright jealousy towards her is a real problem.

Yeah, Detroit had the Jordan Rules, but most of the league embraced Michael (and Larry/Magic before, Kobe and LeBron after) as guys who could make everyone richer. The WNBA needs to learn from that.
