I think the talent on offense would make up for any coaching issues like it has in the past. I wanted them to hire outside of the organization but I'm not worried

The talent didn't really make up for it in 2023.

This sucks to see. Braman was one of those glue guys that you love to have on the team. Back when ST demons were glorfied for being heat seaking missles on KO teams.

This makes me so sad

braman was super nice and gave my daughter his gloves at a preseason game years ago. Dude seemed like a wild man

yeah, he was one of those guys who was the complete opposite off the field as he was on it.

Real American and Light Beer shows clearly that we are from different generations.

I got it solely for the packaging haha. Beer is like wine…start with the good stuff and after a while it’s all the same, might as well go to the cheap stuff (and stay hydrated).

Offense scored avg 25 points for the year. That should be enough to win a game

He was such an easy guy to root for. Not the most talented, but he had the heart and desire to put it all on the line for almost every ST snap. He had the good with the bad because of that, but you always noticed him.

The second half of that season was brutal, on both sides of the ball. The defense couldn't hold a lead and when the offense had the ball it felt like an uphill battle every time to move the chains.

That's the same offense that put up 14 against the Jets, to lose to them for the first time in franchise history. The offense was bad... the defense was worse.

I'm just hoping this every other year pattern doesn't hold. '21 poor, '22 good, '23 poor, '24 good. A little consistency would be nice.

I didn't notice a pattern until you mentioned it. Though I'm not superstitious

Pretty sure Vic has a handle on the defense. So if anything... I think they could offset any sputtering by the offense with the new OC

But I also think it's going to be heavily what Nick wants since they went indoors instead of a mind outside of the organization

We are the verge of the Jalen Hurts MVP season. The wild thing is there will still be haters here after it.

You win a Super Bowl for a franchise, especially it's first and you should be taken care of when you run into major health crap like this. Eagles need to step up and help him.

Do yo guys know when did the players vote for this? Was it before or after the playoffs?

I think it’s usually later in the season. Before playoffs.

Never mind, I Googled it and looks like they voted before New Year's Eve. Which means many Eagles that we would assume should easily make the list will be left out.

I'd bet Hurts won't be in the top 20-25. DeJean won't be on it. Q is unlikely to be on it. Carter will be lower than he deserves (as people hadn't seen him in the divisional round). I guess the NFL has to try to keep fans entertained before the pre-season starts, but recency bias can make these rankings ludicrous.

But Josh Sweat is on it and let's be honest, he wasn't a top 100 player until the SB.

Yes, it’s well before the playoffs… I think it’s before Thanksgiving even. I heard Zach Berman talking about that the other day.

This video explains why the 2023 Eagles Offense was so woeful in the collapse. It is well worth the watch.

What I would love to see is having Kollman assess the 2024 Eagles in terms of how they addressed the very real issues he brings up in the video.

The offense was so bad that year, and so many people just stuck their heads in the sand because they were 10-0 winning with a terrible process. Then when the bottom finally fell out on the defensive side and they started losing everyone blamed the defense and ignored just how awful the offense had been

The MLB needs to adopt some of their rules.

I never watched a Banana Ball game but saw random clips. It’s probably not for me but I don’t get the hate. They created a successful niche product that seems to be working for the moment, so good for them. They already beat every iteration of the NFL.

I have only seen clips but I already know I will take my kids one day. I signed up for the lottery to get tickets but did not get selected this year.
