Hey everyone, sorry I've been away for a while. Everything's ok here but as you know, the health situation takes full priority and for the past couple of months, it's been taking all of my attention. Along with other issues that take my time and attention.

We've been in the hospital a few times in the past month and a half or so, nothing major but hospital visits none the less.

Add on top of all that, we have Geo Thermal HVAC systems, which require wells for water to operate. The return well began bubbling up in the yard, meaning we need new return wells (we need 2 because we have two systems). That's over $8k alone, not to mention that the older of the systems is over 30 years old and needs to be replaced and you can imagine the cost for that! But without the new wells, I have to have a garden hose running out to the yard to flow the water out as the HVAC runs, which of course, floods the yard and makes cutting the grass fun.

With this heat as it has been, it's been a very real struggle to keep things cool enough for my mother, and when it's not cool enough, she as breathing issues due to the scar tissue from the lung cancer, which is still no longer showing on any of her CT scans. But each day has its health struggles and challenges and I've just been very occupied with that and haven't been able to do much else.

I sincerely apologize for not checking in from time to time, but time really does slip away so quickly that I didn't even realize how close to training came we are.

As time allows, I'm going to try to catch up on any issues that may be going on with the board, which I'm sure there are some.

Respect and sympathy.

Meanwhile, when he came here, he was given a bunch of young hungry players on defense that wanted to learn how to play at a high level in the NFL and very very few of them had any cache to improvise or push back on the scheme.

Learning to BBQ with an offset is a process. I don't have the patience or the pocketbook to have some misfires personally, so I just went with the pellet smoker route. I'm not super into heavy smoke flavor, so that works for me, and allows me to focus on the other stuff... seasoning rubs, timing, when to wrap, etc.

BUT, the world of BBQ is a fun one to play in... and then you get to eat some really tasty stuff at the end of the process! thumbsup Good luck.

BTW, there's a few youtubers out there that I'd suggest checking out. Meat Church & MadScientistBBQ are good for Brisket. HowtoBBQRight is great for all other things bbq. And if you can find videos with Aaron Franklin (currently widely considered the king of brisket), you can't go wrong. I just found out he has a channel... so I'll be checking that out myself.

Geothermal? You are a trend setter.

It was what was here when I moved in, so I'm kind of stuck with it. Not that it's bad, but it requires wells (and a well pump that just cost me $2k 2 months ago to replace) and the water here is very high in iron. Run the hose (with untreated water) down the driveway for a day or two and the driveway will be stained orange from the iron. That iron can really gunk things up, too.

I would consider going with a closed loop, which gets rid of the need for wells, but that conversion would be $20,000 or something like that and I don't think my older system can run on a closed loop. The newer one can, but the older one is 1996ish, or 98ish at the latest.

As someone that has Well and Septic...my sympathies........plus my house is like 25 years old. Since moving in...new Septic Field, new tank system for Well, new roof, new furnaces (2 zone), new water heater...it never ends! So sorry to hear (my mother has onset dementia and alzheimers).

I find the only way not to take a shotgun to someone or myself is to just make sure that I keep gratitude for the things that I do have. And on a totally positive note, where as I bought the house 7 years ago for 700k and was cursing the day thinking I overspent.....neighbor sold last week for 1.45mm so......at least I have a million in equity which goes towards my retirement fund coming up in 5 years!! :)

Yeah, I don’t get it.

Because at this point you are locking out former players and coaches from being able to attend the ring ceremony/party. It os trending to where this won't happen now until the start of camp. That disrespects their contribution because a billionaire franchise couldn't get it's crap together and get these rings by May/June.

Because he's a troll pushing his ridiculous "Lurie is broke" narrative.

Just stop feeding him.

Not sure if this was posted already. A good glimpse of Saquon outside his comfort zone; he and Grant Horvat both always come off as genuinely good dudes. Horvat has a large YouTube following and is very close to a tour-level golfer.

Because you're a billionaire organization. You should be making sure you are doing business with a jewler that can provide their service on time before you enter business with them for the amount of money they wpuld be paying for these rings. This is an embarrassment.
