Since when does how someone plays in the post season not matter? The whole purpose of any professional sports team is to win championships.

He rallied late in that 2021 playoff game when nothing was going right around him all game. He followed that up with a Super Bowl run where he outplayed Mahomes. 2023 was a bad game but that whole team had quit for about a month heading into that playoff matchup. Followed that up again with another Super Bowl run where he again outplayed Mahomes.

But 2022 and 2024 exist. Herbert gets back in the playoffs after his all time 2nd half choke job and followed it up with just an all time terrible QB performance, solidifying himself as the worst active post-season QB in league.

It wasn't garbage time. And it certainly was building towards what would come. All of you haters in 2021 wanted to try to wash away any late game success he had in 2021 saying oh it's just garbage time. But no that just showed Jalen Hurts as the clutch performer that he was becoming. What was the record he set as a QB that spanned from the 2022-2023 season? Something like 14 games in a row where the Eagles were down by at least 10 points that they came back and won.

Down 31-0 with 12 mins left is garbage time, especially since that score was a 34 yard Boston Scott rushing TD. The Hurts TD pass came with less than 5 minutes left in the game.

Not as bad as Herbert. And unlike Herbert, Jalen Hurts has made two Super Bowl runs and has two all time Super Bowl performances. Meanwhile Herbert has crap the bed against two awful teams in the playoffs.
