We are one Mark Simenauo away from the opener.

Didn't even realize football is this month

Thought Moesher’s selection of most exciting rookie player to watch in TC (with emphasis on exciting) was interesting. He went with Montrell Johnson Jr. his reasoning that linemen aren’t particularly exciting to watch nor are LBs. Not sure I agree with the latter. You can gage a bit on football instincts at LB. I also like to watch the feet and hand use by linemen but that’s not "exciting” as most would have it. So Johnson, a one cut speed guy with good size is interesting. Knock on him is trusting his blockers (patience) and vision.

The other beat took the easy route with McCord. Too easy.

Who are yours? I am waffling between McWilliams, Mukuba, Hook (BigEFly likes DBs) and Cooper, Morin and Jackson. In thud practices, though, and in PS games, hands down it will be Robinson and Mondon, especially the latter. I am looking forward to D Cooper v Cooper D in the one on ones.

Why?

Can’t fault any of these answers

We can argue about where he ranks as a QB, but I appreciate an authenitc old soul more than anything else.

Ever wonder why in SciFi space battles there is never an issue with all the small debris from the small spacecraft blowing up? Thank the stars for scientifically nonsensical "shields” and "force fields”.

I sometimes feel like I’m the only adult male who hates SciFi. Hate Star Trek. Hate Star Wars. Hate all of it.

I'm really excited to see what Stoutland can do with Williams and Hinton. Feel like one of them will turn into a steal. But likely will learn more from the PS games than practice with linemen.

I'm with you. I keep seeing all of these posts about Interstellar so I decided to watch it on a flight home from Texas. I was bored and confused. I don't get the hype at all. It was one of the slowest movies I've ever watched. Haven't watched any Star Wars movies. You're not alone my friend.

An explosion in space wouldn't make any sound, either.

It's not a space battle but debris plays a large part in Gravity. Plus, the opening 17-minutes sequence is maybe the greatest single take in cinema history.

I was never into either also.

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I like watching the OL. Becton had me drooling last year. Hinton intrigues me but I'm concerned about his speed. 5.64 in the 40 is pretty ponderous. Stoutland likes to pull all his linemen and I don't know if Hinton can do it. In any event, I'll be watching him as much as I can.

Gravity is, in my opinion, one of the very worst movies that pretends to have any basis in actual science.

I remember them doing it on several occasions but don’t recall that one specifically.

If Williams takes coaching then he has potential at OT. Little slow but I think part of that is conditioning. Trout would need to fix his feet and his bend, but that’s may be doable. I figure Hinton is a G/T. Pierce intrigues. Monster of a man. I do wonder if he takes to NFL conditioning. Will be interesting to see how Kinnard looks in year three. Never liked his lateral movement.
