What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Yea I’m sure they will put something like that out eventually. I thought you meant show the ceremony live.

For some reason I thought it was…I guess not

Ruben Frank was talking about Lehigh on Birds Huddle and I did some digging....

This will be the first training camp where none of the players attended a training camp at Lehigh.

(BG was the last active player)

I hate that that doesn't happen any more. It was such a great bonding experience between the players and fans... and fans with each other. But... we've gotten 2 Super Bowls since they stopped... so maybe that's better. I just feel bad for the kids that won't get a chance to experience that.

Dallas should just consider trading Parsons at this point. I'm not even joking either.

I’ve been saying that for a year…Jimmy Johnson would’ve done it already if he was still in charge

It’s a good thing some later 2nd round picks near Makuba signed today. This wouldn’t have helped.

I'm glad it's going in this direction. I'm a proponent of fully guaranteed contracts for all rookies. I'd be happy if guys like Dejean, Ojomo, et al had a fully guaranteed contracts.

I don’t think it would be feasible with a hard cap league to have all rookies get guaranteed contracts. The second half of the draft is generally a crapshoot with the majority not lasting 4 years in the NFL. It would eventually add up and snowball.

That's a good point. So maybe 3rd rounders get 3 years guaranteed on a 4 year deal, 4th and 5th rounders get 2 years guaranteed on a 4 year deal, and 6th/ 7th get 1year guaranteed on a 4 deal?

They have to make the team to deserve that after round two. If they work hard and have talent their contracts will be guaranteed and they can get insurance for injuries. I get what people are saying but I want players hungry.

LMGM is also right about the cap as well. 1200+ people get cut before the regular season. That will be a ton of dead cap space around the league.

I know I need to just get over it and accept it, but I absolutely hate that TC is at the NovaCare Complex. It reeks of arrogance that they think one night at the Linc is giving the fans something when in the past we had an entire month of free access to the team. With how global the Eagles have become, having TC at Lehigh again would be a tremendous economic boost for the Lehigh Valley.

So these great reporters "uncovered” a couple,of NFLPA/NFL arbitration decisions that 1, show evidence the NFL discouraged fully guaranteed contracts amongst the owners but no evidence they actually colluded on the issue; and 2, that the NFLPA encouraged players to fake injuries but no proof that players actually faked injuries. Wow, what incredible disclosures.

Think about it, on an extension, it’s impossible to collude because the team controls the player. On free agency, the player can sign or not. He is represented by an agent most times. With the draft, we just say the Texans do what they wanted. All smoke and no fire.

The NFLPA encourages players to fake injuries but the players don’t. All smoke and no fire.

Being very cynical.

Teams collectively looking after their own interests, while Agents are looking after their clients interests. A novel concept in business.... I do think that some teams may chat face to face at the Senior Bowl, Combine etc on some hypothetical deals they'll do to gauge perception, and agents may look after a players best interest on a bad team.

If anyone is dumb enough to have that written down or verbally recorded, they deserve the punishment. Is it right to do, no. But that is real world we live in

The highlights that are being shown of Von Miller don't worry me at all that he's now a Skin.

Here he is sacking Josh Rosen, Jared Goff on the Rams, Tom Brady with the Patriots, ANDREW LUCK, Derek Carr on the Raiders in OAKLAND

Assuming that's Tom Brady's last year in NE, that's 6 years old

Andrew Luck retired in 2018

Derek Carr last played in Oakland in 2019

Jared Goff last wore those uniforms with the Rams in 2019

Josh Rosen was a Cardinal in 2018

There's a good chance all of these highlights are from 2018. Not saying he's a bad player now, but come on, he's not that guy.

He had 14 sacks during his time with the Bills that was recent. They had tape from the last 3 years. Not sure why they chose to go that far back in years

Once upon a time, Ryan Kerrigan was a really good player... then he came to the Eagles and he did less than Bryce Huff.

Another good point, guaranteed after making the team for lower picks is a good idea.

Wow. RIP. That jump from the stratosphere is one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed.

Extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner dies in paragliding accident

Watching that jump makes me really nervous. Of course I'm scared of heights and dont fly (and never will)

The balls on that dude to do that jump. Him and that guy that did the tight rope walk across the twin towers years ago......I dont know how you gather that much courage to even attempt that.

Probably the same thing he had as Alex Honnold, they don't have the fear response the majority of us do.

Not just professional sports. There are more than a few large $$$$ private jets at places like Cayman Islands, Antigua and the like. Are the passengers just on vacation, or are they coincidentally running into people like them and having conversations 'off the record'? Being in the same place at the same time out of the public eye is merely a coincidence mind you.

Really wish they didn't have this as a private event
