Yup. The only reason to put 2 would be if they won back to back. They did not, but instead were separated by 7 years. Graham, Johnson, Elliott, and Lovato are the only ones that got 2 here. So, in essence, this one has nothing to do with the first one. Even amongst the coaches, only Stoutland is a holdover, I believe.

Nah. I get your point. But are you making four rings with two lombardi's for just those four players? What about coaches, owner, front office that were here for both?

It's simpler to just follow precedent. You can identify which team championship you participated in by just counting lombardi's on the ring.

Could he even do this if he wanted to?

No. He declared for the draft, hired an agent and was drafted. So he would be ineligible to play CFB unless he took it to court. He could not sign his contract and go back to just school, but not play.

The whole story was always more of a hypothetical that got legs instead of actual reporting.

Not judging but 7 hours is… interesting lol

Nah man, you can judge that. That's an insane amount of time to spend at a strip club.

Agree to disagree. Fans are a huge part of it

No, I don't think the fans really played any part in the team winning the Super Bowl. This event is all for the players, coaching staff and organization.

It's the norm around the league to put the number of Super Bowls in the ring for the organization.

No, I am not suggesting that. I am suggesting only 1 trophy on this ring. Because each team has its own identity and should be recognized as such.

While everything you say is correct, is this a perfect test case to legally challenge those eligibility rules? Curt Flood, where are you?

Staying for shift changes makes sense. I dont see why you wouldnt want to do due diligence and scout all of the talent.

It's the truth. Sorry to break it to you but we as the fans played no impact.

Remove the fans and where is the league going. Fans are the reason the draft is such a spectacle now. Fans are the reason the SB costs so much. Fans are everything

Hot take: it's their ring, they can design it how they want.

Fans finance the league. Fans are not impacting the outcomes.

I was a huge Kirk Morrison fan when he was at SD State. Instead we got stuck with the other LB.

He's very good on NFL Radio. I don't always agree with him, but his positions are very well thought out.
