I asked it to re-draft the past 10 drafts with some interesting results

Sounds like the same logic for engaging RTK, maybe he's a bot.

Interesting. I would think they had enough bodies already at DT.

Very weird response. So are you trying to imply that Jalen Hurts played bad in against the Steelers and in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs? Even that Browns game he didn't play bad, that game was only close because of a blocked Jake Elliott FG that was returned for a TD in at the end of the 1st half and then in the second half, the defense you are thanking for the win decided to let Watson look like a NFL QB for the only time in years.

vs Schwartz: 264 yards passing, 64.0%, 10.6 YPA, 2 TD passes, 0 INT, 126.1 QB rating and 33 yards rushing.

vs Tomlin: 290 yards passing, 78.1%, 9.1 YPA, 2 TD passes, 0 INT, 125.3 QB rating, 20 yards rushing & 1 rushing TD.

vs Spagnuolo: 221 yards passing, 77.3%, 10.0 YPA, 2 TD passes, 1 INT, 119.7 QB rating, 72 rushing yards & 1 rushing TD.

Fun facts too that I just looked up as well.

-Of the 17 games the Browns played in 2024, Jalen Hurts had the 3rd highest QB rating against them in a game.

-Of the 18 games the Steelers played in 2024, Jalen Hurts had the 3rd highest QB rating against them in a game.

-Of the 20 games the Chiefs played in 2024, Jalen Hurts had the highest QB rating against them in a game.

They are pretty light behind the starters.

Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Ty Robinson are the top 4 on the depth chart with Thomas Booker as the tweener 5th DT who eats some snaps.

Gabe Hall and Byron Young are the only non 53 DT on the TC roster. Need some depth there to eat snaps in the preseason.

If you ask it about the Flyers draft, will it vomit?

Gotta keep Jordan Davis from wearing out too early.

I realize Hurts is god to you but he said he wasn't sure about Barkley against those defenses. "I have confidence in Hurts"

No, that's not what he said. He said his biggest fear going into the season was what other defenses will do to the Eagles after looking at what the Chiefs, Browns and Steelers did defensively last season. Then he doubled down by claiming the Eagles only won those games because of the defense.

Meanwhile Hurts had the best game of any QB all season and playoffs against the Chiefs defense, and a top 3 game all season against both the Browns and Steelers defenses.

I have confidence in Hurts. What I wonder about is will the coaching staff adjust accordingly.

You do recognize that game plans do not focus purely on the offense, right? And the Browns game was no contest until the blocked field goal. And Spags, Tomlinson, and Schwartz did not stop the offense. They stopped part of it at the expense of others. It’s called being balanced.

Howie learned the hard way from the Doug and Carson experience. Not doing that again. Getting guys from now on that have the right character and listen too. Very grateful. We have more SB's on the way.

I think the injuries and Foles winning a SB broke Carson. For two seasons he looked nothing like the guy after the clown hit. There was mental weakness under the surface but that's hard to see.

Boy the Steelers really missed the mark with their throwbacks. Not that their uniform has changed much over the years, but they had options 10x better available and picked that monstrosity. I'm not seeing any positive reviews. Glad we have our misshaded Kelly Greens.

I was making reference to the Browns, Jags, and Panther games. I did say that I had confidence in Hurts and that my concern was with the coaching staff. Specifically, relaxing their "let's not throw unless we have to approach".

You seem like a bot sometimes with your auto-defense of Hurts.

See above. My concern was focused on the coaching staff. Not Hurts.

Understood. How’s this? Football is a four-legged stool.

True, but he was selfish too and it stayed with him during his career. Eagles missed on him so the Hurts pick makes a lot of sense. The man suffered and still won despite. Gotta give him props for that. Have a very good feeling about this coming season.

It's why the Eagles will have to be efficient in the passing game. It's also a reason to develop a more effective screen game.

One of the biggest challenges the Eagles face in being effective in screens is that their O-Line is so good that when they let the opposing D-Linemen get penetration, it is in such contrast to the normal effective/aggressive blocking that it is a rather obvious "tell” that alerts the defenders that a screen pass is the play call, prompting them to proactively take steps to break the play up before it even gets going.
