What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

The Sanders quote is fake. That Philly Times twitter account often times will post made up quotes.

Nothing to panic about but it sucks to see Jurgens is already limited by his back. Hopefully this is part of his recovery from whatever surgery he had and not something chronic.

Yeah, but it may be caution vs anything else. Backs are like women where things are fine one minute then pissed off for no reason the next.

Interesting.

Months ago Fangio said (paraphrasing) he wants Cooper on the field every play he can, and that may include safety in base defense. He also clarified that last season they used base defense very little. He said every situation and season, roster makeup, etc. are factors but that's what happened last year.

I look at it not that Cooper is the safety, but that he's a great player that needs to be on the field and if that means safety next to Reed in base, so be it, but most of the time they won't be in base.

Good because it was bitter as hell

What about the Rams player?

When folks refer to APC and one for the Blog dictionary

AJ Brown seems like a good teammate, motivator and encourager especially to the younger guys. He wants others to succeed around him, even other WRs.

Main reason why he wants him off punt returns, which I agree with. He’s too valuable.

Campbell is going to be a monster. Still surprised they took a LB in round 1, but Fangio values them highly.

I do wonder if part of the competition will be how Mukuba/Brown perform at Safety vs. how Mac McWilliams/Ricks look at NB potentially.

Impressive mentality from him

Hopefully this doesn't change anything. And will be interesting if Schefter and Rapsheet are colleagues.

I guess not. Usually thought it was some random, under the radar player shining during camp or exceeding expectations.

People put so many qualifiers on it there really hasn’t been a Nasty Nate since Nate.

It should be as simple as you described it.

I think it is more Brown/Mukuba vs. Ringo/Jackson. Do we want Ringo on the field full time at RCB, and Coop at safety? Or would they rather have Coop at RCB with Brown/Mukuba on the field. My guess is they are hoping Ringo wins the RCB job fulltime, and Brown/Mukuba is a the part time player in nickel.

Interesting that he says he doesn't want to do it a certain way but then says he just wants to find ways to win. He's been willing to evolve his own talent (escaping the pocket too quickly and not using the left side)

I'm guessing he means he'll take suggestions and whatnot but doesn't want to be forced to change

Howie really has done a great job. I'd like to still see one vet added to the secondary if it's at S or CB.

Will Vic have the defense ready for week 1? If not, Dak, Mahomes, Stafford, and Baker will be a challenging gauntlet to begin the season.
