I was saying 'ready' in the sense of cohesion in the back seven. More about communication and less about scheme.

That said, I am looking forward to the additional wrinkles we will see in year two. I seem to recall Jim Schwartz talking about how he wasn't able to call much dime in 2016 because it hadn't been thoroughly installed.

I never liked the signing, but I'm out on Avery Williams already. There has to be a versatile young player who can do more than one thing rather than him to keep on the roster.

He is underwhelming even as a return specialist. If hes not returning punts, what the hell is he here for?

First day. So why not check to see if he can cover punts too? Gives him another ST he can play on because, last I saw, the cover team isn’t on the field at the same time as the return team except in practice.

I had that very discussion with the team last week. I doubled their timing estimates on something and had explain again, why it's a good idea to be pessimistic when estimating effort. They never learn
