Is profanity still not allowed on the EMB?

Good news.

There is an Eagles DVD coming from NFL Films

Fans hoping to snag a DVD of the Super Bowl LIX highlights to place on their shelf next to the highlights from Super Bowl LII are in luck.

The NFL said they plan to release Super Bowl Champions: the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles on DVD. There is no official release date, but an NFL spokesperson said it will be available before the end of the year.

And if the Eagles repeat this season, Weiner said NFL Films might have to think a little bigger.

"Maybe one day next year, when we do the 2025 Eagles championship film, we’ll have a movie to premiere in the theater,” Weiner said.

If the Meadowlands can host a SB without a roof then so can Philly. But F the SB, who cares. It's not worth it for once every 10+ years(at best).

You’re going to need to be more specific

Bored on a slow Friday, so went back and tweaked my predictions. Predict each game, then see the results and go back through it. Here are my takeaways:

  • Despite Jerry's incompetence, Dallas will manage to finish 2nd in the division but miss the playoffs. They still can't run it or stop the run, but adding Pickens will let them score on bad defenses. The simple answer is they will be what Dallas has always been -- beat up on bad teams, lose to good teams.

  • Washington will have a losing record because they had an ABYSMAL offseason. Somehow they made one of the worst run defenses in the NFL worse, and they added a #2 WR who is washed and can't play anymore. Add on being the oldest team in the league, and I am being generous at 8 wins. I wouldn't be shocked to see them 6-11. Easily the most overrated team in the league. EASILY.

  • Detroit will take a step back, but so will Minnesota, and I just don't believe in Green Bay and Jordan Love. No beating up on the AFC South this year. The interior offensive line in Detroit could be a real problem. And I'm already worried about the Bears and reports that Caleb isn't working hard. Seems like the next Trevor Lawrence -- overrated bust who peaked early in his college career.

  • Tampa Bay is a lot better than people think. Baker is good.

  • The Rams are the biggest competition in the NFC. I don't buy the 49ers easy schedule hype.

  • Buffalo will run away with the AFC East again.

  • Every year I think Cincinnati will be good, every year I am wrong. I will stick with tradition.

  • The AFC South is a dumpster fire. Lawrence is a bust, I don't think Ward will be great, and Daniel Jones vs. Anthony Richardson is like choosing between HIV and AIDS

  • KC will win the division, but barely. Denver is overhyped, but I've never believed in Payton as a coach

I didn't know about the report of Williams not working hard. Is it like Murray? They built that team pretty well

Burrow will carry that team until he finally says enough and trade me. FO needs a reset and come otto terms

I'm curious how badly Bucs would drop if Evans were to retire

Ben Johnson threw the starting offense off the practice field because Caleb didn't know the plays

That basically happened as a post 9/11 push for NYC. No chance it ever happens again.

That's the Coliseum - it's a complete dump located in a horrible part of town. Nobody wants to play or watch a game there.

They should renovate and make it the official Super Bowl stadium because it is a beauty to watch games there on TV.

SoFi is just another generic indoor stadium that is completely boring to watch a game played at from a TV viewer standpoint.

What about bluray or 4k bluray? Or will the only option be a 30 year old format?

Lurie's too cheap and players had to scalp tickets.

Maybe you should consider not being poor and actually going to a game there. Awesome place to watch a game.

That is 90% of the posts. This (my) post included.

That also means that the Eagles natural grass would almost certainly become artifical. We'd be going from an outdoor natural grass team to an indoor artificial grass team, all for the chance to host the SB once every 10 years? Nope. Let the Sixers build their new arena and that can hold Final Fours. I hate everything about the idea.

That's an unrealistic frequency as well. The more cities get a dome, the bigger the pool of potential sites grows... and the more cities have a deal made with the NFL in order to secure more public dollars for the project.
