This is a very loose design idea I have for it that I can go into much more later. The main idea though is that it is built in the navy yard and is a bowl but it is built up and out and of the ground. This creates the possibility for a better bowl and better view of the city. Entire stadium a bowl of seats. The end of the city there is however a large cutout of open air/space of the Eagles logo and through it you see the skyline of Philadelphia. Glass roof that is mandatory opened for all Eagles home games. When it opens too they flip up and outward so the stadium looks like it has wings extended like the Super Bowl Rings. On top of the open air Eagles log is a massive but very wide video highlight board extending the entire space of the north end of the stadium. On the sides for that same space are your club boxes. On top of every section of the stadium are giant statues of actual Eagle animals and all time Eagles greats. On these statues hang the banners of retired numbers and championship banners. They overlook the stadium as if Eagles in a nest. Various actaul eagles can be replaced in time by all time great Eagles players enshrined at the top of the stadium for all time like a Brian Dawkins or Jalen Hurts.

Dumb.

Most of the stadium should be underground, and built right along the water.

The side of the stadium against the water should be made if a translucent material so as to provide an underwater view so fans can see sharks swim by, and secret submarines in the area.

Lurie can have hydroelectric renewable energy as water flows past his stadium.

And fans can watch the games from their yachts and maybe even catch some FGs, or balls tossed out by players after a TD.

This is a brilliant plan!

That way Lurie can save some $$ on electricity and then upcharge people to see the sharks. He could probably cut a deal with Nickelodeon and stream Spongebob as part of the festivities.

It's inevevitable that the Linc is either getting major renovations in the near future or a new stadium is being built. I think the best case scenario is they close in the North End so it's a true bowl stadium and you can capture more crowd noise and you build some sort of overhang like the Dolphins or the Bills new stadium will have.

Pardon the ChatGPT wonkiness, but close the North endzone. You get a lot more seating and you can really capute the crowd.

top one looks like it does the trick. overhangs enough to protect fans from the elements. Leaves the field exposed. Still could include a closable roof on there somehow.

I dont think you really gain all that much seating by closing in the corners though. They already partially did that in the last update so theres not all that much room left.

If its a goal to really increase capacity then theyll have to rebuild entirely.

But, does Lurie want to capute the crowd?

It feels like they are dead set on it. Really dreading it. Hopefully they change their minds and if they do build one it's outdoors. Don't ruin outdoor football for us for the rest of our lifetimes!
