What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

How many weeks do we give him before calling for McKee?

Weeks? McKee needs to be the QB1 tomorrow morning!

First we get another version of Naked Gun, then Freakier Friday and Happy Gilmore 2. So why not……

If he can lock in more consistently this season then I think it's easy to call him top 5. His problem is that he clearly CAN play at a top 5 level, he just doesn't consistently. He has the 1-2 plays a game you see in this video, and then he's holding the ball too long, abandoning clean pockets and taking horrible sacks. He did do a much better job last season staying in the pocket even under pressure so I expect that issue is mostly fixed once season starts.

From John McMullen’s article yesterday https://www.si.com/nfl/eagles/news/recent-history-points-to-the-eagles-making-a-move-this-summer-01k11r7egwak

"There are also sneaky player-for-player trade options like Dotson, who is likely to walk after the final year of his rookie deal signed as a first-round pick in Washington, especially if someone like Terrace Marshall Jr. continues to excel. Or Sydney Brown, who doesn’t seem like the best fit for a Vic Fangio's scheme, if the third-year safety loses out to rookie Drew Mukuba in the summer safety sweepstakes.”

Interesting thought.

Hard to imagine an offensive performance better than this one.

More about Kurtz, whose nickname is Big Amish.

The AJ alternative down

Alright it's time to cook Howie. Fleece them for Jahan Dotson. Ainias Smith and Terrace Marshall are showing up. Danny Gray's got the speed. For as much as they used Dotson last year, let those guys step up! Dotson for a 2nd and a 4th.

Now we're talking!!!

May have an impact on how they start the season.

Hopefully the newer look Eagle defensive line gels quickly and can get after him. 17 years in the league and showing back stress really requires a plan B.

Let's say that Patullo ends up being a good OC and the Eagles offense performs at a very high level and Eagles go on another deep playoff run. What is the likelihood he too gets hired as a HC? Nick Sirianni already has a 3 man deep HC tree. I would think he would need at least 2 good years at OC for a team to actually hire him as a HC but how real is that possibility after just one season? How good would the Eagles offense need to be for that to become a possibility we have to worry about once teams starting hiring coaches in January?

In a prior discussion about the SB 57 field and its impact on the Eagles D-Line, my personal opinion is that that slippery field would have affected the current D-Line and 2024-5 D-Line much less than the 2022-23 was affected … because the current D-Line’s greatest strength is its relentlessness as opposed to speed.

That approach is a superb match to Fangio’s zone approach to the DBs and LBs … taking away the zone seam vulnerabilities as well as the quick release patterns over the middle.

That affords the current D-Line le opportunity (dare I say luxury) of time in "coming together.”

In addition to the development of Ojomo, the diversification/expansion of the role of Jordan Davis, and the integration of Vanilla Gorilla are going to be fun to watch. That is rich in and of itself, and doesn’t even include the development/involvement of Ojulari/Uche/APR.

It’s a great tome to be an Eagles fan.

Also it will be curious to see how Nick's coaching tree ends up turning out. More Reid or BB in terms of the success of his former staff as HCs. So far Gannon and Steichen haven't done a whole lot. A bit of a make or break season, more so for Steichen. Not good place to be in too for a make or break season when you are choosing between Daniel Jones and Richardson as your QB to save your job. Gannon at least looks like he could be building something. They have some good pieces on defense and I'm not huge on Murray but they have enough talent on offense where they should at least be good enough to compete for a playoff spot especially if their defense is good.

Kellen Moore walking into a terrible situation with NO. I think best case scenario is they don't win a lot of games this year and then draft Arch Manning and Moore can build around him.

But Patullo will be the ultimate first real understudy coach of Nick Sirianni. The rest of the guys had all really been on their paths already for some time before working under Nick. Patullo is perhaps the first true branch of a Sirianni HC tree if Patullo ever lands a HC job.

I was big on Ojomo last year. I was saying throughout the year whenever he would come into the game and make a play that he was why the Eagles were going to be fine with letting Milton Williams walk in the offseason. People mocked me for it but I was right. Every time he got on the field last season he flashed. I've also been huge on Jordan Davis and he was great in the playoffs. Big sack in the NFC Championship Game and big sack in the Super Bowl. For me, showing you can play great in the biggest of games is one of the best abilities any player can show.

That's a big reason why I think Jalyx Hunt is also in line for a huge year. Didn't start getting playing time until the end of the year and just kept playing better and better the deeper they went. He is going to have the chance to play a lot. I think if he gets out there and makes plays early on in the season then Fangio is just going to give him more and more snaps. I think Hunt pushes for 8-10 sacks in year 2.

Beyond obvious of Carter's health, the next biggest impact on how the defensive line performs is Nolan Smith's health. That is the only thing holding him back and he has had to deal with injuries now every year as a pro and all throughout college as well. I'm worried he might be returning too soon but they really need him healthy for the full year. He showed last year, especially throughout the playoffs that he was ready to take that step to be considered an elite pass rusher in the league. I don't know what to expect from his health, but if he does stay healthy I think we should be expecting a 14-16+ sack season from him.

Amen to this. Chris Jones was a straight push type of rusher and Reddick was trying to get around OTs with a 45 degree bend like an ice skater.

Those pathetic punks made T-shirts taking credit for the work the field did.

New Orleans had a legit field for the rematch. This happened.

Comments on this tweet allege he likes sticking his finger in buttcracks. Perhaps he will not be a target for the Eagles.

I think we'd have to historically dominate on offense for that chance to happen. Something even better than Broncos 2013

When do they become his coaching tree?

Someone hired off his staffs is his tree.

Shedeur Sanders rookie of the year is a fun bet to just throw some money at.
