What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Peters was more powerful, but he got beat for pressure more than Lane does. Also the way he hung on too long when it was obvious that he wasn’t the same player anymore kinda left a bad test in the mouth.

He gets extra credit for emotion. Pains me to say this because he is my favorite Eagle of all time but Lane is better

Lane has two rings and played in both

Actually, Lane has played in 3 Super Bowls and won 2....and when you compare effect....records with and without a player, I think (and I'm not going to go through the exercise).....When a player plays vs. when he doesn't....Lane probably has the most impact.

Sure, but Williams was pick #73. Robinson was #111. That's a full round plus later. Just interesting that Williams never got this type of hype early in his career.

Well there was also disagreement when we picked Williams where we did in the Eagles room...Howie was happy fist bumping guys but I believe it was a scout Donahue I

think who didn't, he wanted and pushed for Liam McNeill.... I believe we got Robinson there mores because of his age. I wasn't against the Williams pick but did think McNeillwas going to be our pick and wanted it

to be but I a nobody on a Forum, lol. I like the Robinson pick especially to be in this rotation.

Maybe prime JP was tainted by him sticking around, but I think Lane has left JP in the dust.

Update on wiggate. The fan was ejected for making fun of the player. I sure hope they don't watch College Gameday, or watch any other male sport. You want to be taken serious and paid "what you're owed" but can't deal with fans heckling? Get out of here.

Hot damn. Good for Bryce.

Lane is the greatest RT to ever play. If he doesn’t get a first ballot induction to the HOF, something is wrong with the voters.

If doesn't get in first ballot its because of the PEDs. I definitely can see that happening.

Correct. Howie traded back and McNeill went a slot earlier than Williams, IIRC.

That was so long ago. Also, that can be balanced by his dealing with mental health issues publicly.

That's a team accomplishment. Reggie was the greatest DL to ever play the game, and that started while he was here... and he didn't win squat here. That doesn't change his greatness. Same goes for Barry Sanders. That guy was beyond mesmerizing, but never won a Super Bowl. That doesn't diminish his greatness either. He got mired in Detroit playing for Wayne Fontes. Not his fault.

One has to do with the integrity of the game, the other has to do with the reality that these players are real people with real human problems. I don't think that the one negates the other. The voters might look the other way on the PEDs, but I don't think Johnson's recent admissions changes anything about that. It's great that Lane came forward about it, but I don't think it changes much for the voters.

If that happened to a man at football over here, the whole stadium would be chanting at them to take the piss. Because its very funny.

Baseball's finances are broken. They do need a major overhaul. Honestly, what they need to do is either contract, or force out certain ownership groups. You can't have organizations like the Pirates, Athletics and Marlins who constantly put out a terrible product and have a tiny payroll, yet still manage to turn a profit because baseball will always draw a certain number of fans to the seats, just enough to keep their heads above water. What the sport really needs is a salary FLOOR. That would force out some of the cheaper owners and could reinvigorate some of the competition that was lost. Once upon a time, the Pirates were a great organization. Even way before that, the Athletics were dominant in the sport. But, they have since turned into major league farm teams. They are essentially AAAA teams that get to practice against the big leaguers.

Really comes off like these are dumb questions at this point in camp

Absolute best part of the Fangio interview was when a Beat said Cam said the defense was 100% installed. Fangio asks, Cam Jurgens, our center? Gets a twinkle in his eye and says not 100%, we still have some plays for him.
