Issue I have is I would buy a beater like we had when I was young but all the beaters go to Mexico and south now. Because of the stupid ways the mileage rules are governed, there is no such thing like the step side Silverado or the F100 of my youth.

85 or 86 SWB square body GMC or Chevy…I’ve been looking but they’re too high for one in decent shape that isn’t cut up and dropped.

I love how people are making roster decisions two days into pads.

This is a really young team on defense, Fangio is going to let it play out, but notice the emphasis on teaching technique, what really matters is how players improve over the next few weeks, not where they are right now.

For young players, the first few days of pads is translating film room, coaching and walk throughs into actual game like conditions.

So if a player struggles at first, don't panic, that's normal for rookies and second year players. If they struggle 3 weeks from now, the Turk is coming.

Same on the OL, Stout is looking at which young backups have a high enough upside to graduate from Stoutland U.

If a young player doesn’t have some struggles early on, they are not getting challenged on what they need to work on. I liked hearing McWilliams talking low hip and hands. Ty Robinson talked a lot about leg bend and amongst the awful crap PE.com tweets was a DL drill where it was pretty obvious Ty and Davis were working to keep the leg bend, which is crucial to avoid getting stood up and controlled.

3rd row bottom left seals the deal for me, Room 1

Interesting. Room 1 was my easy discard. Deciding between 2 and 3 was harder. Part of the problem for me is I don’t know who all the women are. Like I think the bottom right one is Cate Blanchett, but I’m not sure.

I need Donovan McNabb to give me a hand.

You willingly choose to be Cowboys fan - we all know you're mentally challenged and we accept you anyway.

Well kind of…I was born a fan, not really a choice.

😂 yes, I truly appreciate the acceptance of me on the board here, you guys make my enjoyment of all things football fun and interesting when it otherwise would just suck when it comes to the NFL. Awesome people here.

McCollum and McWilliams. Mondon. Possibly APR. Uche is a real possibility. Battle between those last two and Ojulari probably comes down to ST play. The 4 & 5 WRs need to play STs. Same with the #3 RB. And FB if BVS makes it. If they keep a third TE, he better play STs. ST play may be the most important piece of PS games.

Montrell Johnson could be a good one.

Well, they are all nice but I really like the lady down in the bottom left so she was a trump card for me.

You'll be fine. You have been acclimatizing to this for 3 decades now.

Attractive ladies to say the least but I have come to the wisdom as I aged that an attractive level of conversation, kindness, humor and compatible sharing of values is true beauty. Wouldn’t trade my red head dream for any of them.

Have we gotten ANY APR camp updates? I know he's a 7th round rookie but still don't think I've even seen him mentioned on here.

Your big head is thinking for your little head. That's an enviable position to be in.

Does Asante Samuel Jr not deserve a prove it contract? He struggles against the run and tackling I get it but man someone has to throw the kid a bone (this of course unless he’s still waiting on starter money)

I recall him having a bad shoulder or something. Would be a bad combo - bad shoulder and bad tackler.

Closed walkthrough today

Looks really wrong to me. I’d be stunned if they kept 4 RBs and left off BVS. The WR roster behind the studs and Dotson is anyone who flashed at any point in camp, and we have a ton of evidence to suggest that’s not the best indicator. And so on. Really, a shockingly bad projection for a guy who spends so much time around the team.

Part of being a fan is understanding what the competition throws at your team. I think all the teams in the NFCE are going to be more competitive this year including yours. That said, I don’t think the commies have the kind of luck they had last year so your team may be #2 in the division. I think the defense the gints have been building is going to surprise some.

The constant allure of hot women is an addiction. It’s candy over vegetables. Was embarrassingly late in life before I realized this.

That said, sign me up for the Sydney Sweeney/Margot Robbie room and tell the other girl to wait outside.

I really don’t have an issue with Lamb’s deal, if not for the Dak Prescott contract it’s not as limiting. He’s a top 5 wr, they didn’t get a deal as good as the Eagles got with Brown but it’s not a horrible contract. You just cannot pay three players top three positional money and build a well rounded roster.

I have Lamb at 5, not sure I'd take him over: JJ, Ja'Marr, AJ and Tyreek (in that order). The problem is signing him to that contract when the team really should be looking to rebuild, and also doing it stupidly by waiting and paying him more than they needed to. But if they wanted to sign Lamb, Parsons and Tyler Smith as cornerstone players -- that's 3 all pros. But Jerry overpaid Ceedee by waiting, will cost himself money on Parsons and somehow hasn't even started a convo with Smith despite him being a stud. Any competent GM would have locked those 3 up the second they finished their 3rd year...Jerry likes the headlines though.

The Dak contract is just downright indefensible, and how they did it was even more insane. They waited all offseason last year and only converted like $10mm of his salary to signing bonus -- they carried him on the books at an absurd cap number that whole time and lost people. The only reason to do that is if you decided to let him play out the contract and leave after 2024 -- if you planned to resign him the whole time, then they should have converted all his salary to a bonus and opened up cap flexibility to add to a 12 win team. There's just zero logic in anything Jerry is doing right now. Dak had a team with 9 all pros in 2023 (8 other than him, 6 excluding specialists) and got blown out in the WC round; Hurts "stacked" team in 2024 had 6 all pros and he won the Super Bowl.

The real rub for Dallas...they have been carried by strong drafts, but their drafts in 2023 and 2024 were downright terrible. Mazi Smith is a zero, and Overshown sadly can't stay healthy. Guyton is a bust (so far), Beebe might be decent, Kneeland has time but they did bring in Fowler to push him. Carson is serviceable but hurt.

If you aren't going to sign FAs, and won't lock up your own guys early, you need to hit homeruns in the draft over and over again (which they did in 2020, 2021 and 2022).

He must be doing well for them to put that much on his plate so quickly

I can tolerate the Cowboys fans born in Texas. It's the ones from PA and NJ that are the issue.

I don’t disagree with you. Who of the four RBs gets cut? What two players replace Cine and the 4th RB?

The bottom of the 53-man roster is where you protect your project players, not where you keep extra depth.

With the new PS rules, you can keep your depth pieces initially for a few weeks as you see the season begin to shake out.

I'd keep Hinton and Williams as #s 52 & 53.
