now what. Maybe someone who can bring some consistency to the offense?

Ideally Suarez as that’s really what they need is a middle of the lineup power bat. I think Kepler getting hurt they might bring up Crawford if they keep him.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Good trade. A bona-fide closer with remaining term, 27 years old, and throws smoke.

The way he was pulled out of the lineup had me thinking maybe he was a throw in for a trade

I have the same issue with Eagle and Packers fans here in TX, especially those I grew up with not 35 miles from downtown DAL. They are what I call tee shirt fans. I remember being 6 years old playing with one of these footballs

in the front yard before and after the games on Sunday. I used to cut out the front page of the sports page every Monday morning and stick it to the wall of my bedroom throughout the year and would throw them out after the playoffs...I also made sure to have a picture of the cheerleaders as I got older lol, uumm, you know, reading material.

Like I said, just born a fan, some times are better than others, and 30 years of bad times is really wearing on me. I am just hoping to have a respectable organization, not a joke/laughing stock of the league, and possibly win another SB in the next 20 years...otherwise I am not likely to experience another one.

I can live vicariously through you folks though.

I can understand that fandom because of where you grew up. Just curious, how do cowboy fans from your area feel about cowboy/yankees/lakers fans from south central PA. My son had a good friend in elementary school. His dad was a cowboys/yankees/lakers fan. The kid had a cowboys jacket. When he would come to visit, I made him leave the cowboys jacket in the garage. I told him he was welcome in my house but the jacket wasn’t. When I was a kid in Houston and a diehard Oilers fan, we detested people that lived in Houston but were cowboys "fans”.

Honestly I have no idea with regards to other Cowboy/Laker/Yankee fans in PA. All of you folks are the ones I interact with and none of you strike me as that kind of fan. Those kind of fans are sellouts because of past years of success imo.

I am a homer fan because I grew up watching the Cowboys, Mavs, Rangers, and later the Stars. I absolutely cannot stand the Yankees and Lakers. I love an underdog, if my teams are out I’m usually rooting for a team that hasn’t ever won a championship or hasn’t won in a long time..except the Eagles 😛.

Really I’m just a fan of great team and individual play, especially from players that are no nonsense, team driven vs the selfish me, me, me, athletes. There are too many of those guys out there now.

My two oldest kids went to the U of Arkansas for their Masters and one of them married a girl who graduated law school at OU so I have to deal with that…it’s fun trash talk though nothing too serious. They buy me UofA golf shirts, I will absolutely not wear anything with OU in it.

Edit - I wore a Texas shirt to her graduation 😂.

In our new era of training camp coverage, it's hard to really critique players because for the most part we are gathering information from the tweets of about 3 guys. We really need to see the games to determine what's going on.

-I haven't heard Grant Calcaterra or any other TE not name Dallas Goedert once.

-Eli Ricks are you alive?

-Is there even a battle for RB4 or is it Montrell Johnons job to lose...if they even keep a RB4.

-What's going on with S4? Is Andre Sam the man to beat?

-Edge depth not named Uche. Has Okoronkwo shown anything?

-Kendall Lamm, is he even making this team?

I think the more likely scenario is that Quinyon and DeJean are so good that offenses just continuously attack the other outside corner which we might have issue doing if we don't have someone step up at safety who will be able to provide help for that other corner.

Expect the offense will go to the side of CB2. It is critical to have a good CB at that position, even with help of a S.

Man I was just reading a few minutes ago Philly has been the most aggressive but the Twins wanted Painter back.

That's likely why they had to give up Tait. Now... go get Suarez.

I think the neck issue is scaring teams off. He was supposed to have a check up on his surgery in July and then make a decision but with there being no news at all, seems like it's not just money.

He's not going to find starter money this late either.

Well…. Maybe if he played for the cowboys. It’s Jerry SZN.

The number of 100k plus trucks in Texas is absurd. I will not buy a new vehicle ever again. I wait for vehicles coming off a three year lease when I am in the market, which as I get older is rare.

I bought a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali with 31k miles on it in ‘21 for less than half of what they’re selling for now. Still a low mileage (I work from home since Covid) truck that I will likely keep until I retire or longer.

Schmoopie and I are talking about trading in the Explorer for a Lightening

Problem is I feel more comfortable buying an EV new. No idea if the previous owner took care of the battery or not (avoid fast charging, keeping it between 20 and 80, etc)

Suarez is the obvious choice, but how much are they going to pay for him as a rental?

Frontrunners. They aren’t fans at all. The simply have a disease Jimmy Carter took the time to illuminate … measuring the size of their peanuts.

Why is it so small?

Man if we lost to the Rams it would have been an all-time playoff choke job. Was way too close at the end

The Phillies were trending on X this morning in the UK, one for the trade, but also John Kruk taking shots at the WNBA in commentary. It was very funny to listen to

I was on Eagles Live once in 2005. Was visiting Lehigh with my son. During the break between practices Dave asked the couple dozen or so watching in person who had traveled far to be there. We had come down from CT, so he asked me to come up to his booth for a discussion. It was pretty cool.

Kruk usually has an interesting perspective. What did he say?

The pickup truck or going to EVs?

As for the EVs, it would be stupid for me not to. I can charge my car for free at work so theoretically I can lower my transportation "fuel” costs to $0. And when I do need to charge my car at home, I pay a lot less for electricity due to my solar.
