What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Johnny Wilson couldn't catch a buzz with a handle ducktaped to his hands.

Gots to go...

We really need to find a WR who can run. We have this great run game and don't have a #3-4-5 WR with speed to be a vertical field stretcher.

Well, after a week of camp, here's where I am at.

  • I don't know why everyone keeps trying to cut Dillon. Seems clear he will be the number 2 back. Shipley feels like more of a 3rd down guy

  • Assuming BVS isn't seriously hurt

  • Cooks takes Wilson's spot

  • I wanted to think Stout could fix Green, but running with the 3rd team is not great. I think Williams would get claimed by someone based on potential, but it wouldn't suck if he got a mystery injury

  • Assuming Dean goes to PUP

  • Ricks was the last guy to make it. I think they keep him, use the PS for TE3. Ricks would get claimed IMO

Testing the NFL gods to win a Super Bowl without Kinnard on the roster. It’s what cost the Chiefs a 3 peat

Interesting was Clay talking about AJ Dillon taking KOR snaps and trying to tackle him coming downhill.

We will see what Dillon actually looks like in the preseason before we anoint him.

We did in Danny Gray. Marshall ran a 4.40 at the Combine and 4.38 at his pro day. Avery Williams ran a 4.41 at his pro day. Giles Jackson ran a 4.41 at his pro day. Dotson ran a 4.43 at the Combine. Define speed of a vertical field stretcher.

My wife still insists on driving up to her mom's place as opposed to flying -- she lives outside of Sacramento, so about 400 miles away. When she had a Tesla, we'd drive that and had to stop 2x to charge. One time was easy -- get food, take a break, play with the dog. The second stop you're just bored out of your mind. It's also just in case of a blackout or something -- I want one car that runs on gasoline in an emergency.

We do a lot of driving and split the driving between us. We have found that stopping every 2 hours to get out of our seats and walk around before switching as driver and passenger has become a comfortable and comforting routine. Doing that at an EV charging location makes a lot of sense. 400 miles of highway driving would mean two stops. Since our trips start just west of Sacramento, we frequently stop at the Santa Nella exit. There should be lots of charging stations there (our car takes gas). We liberally use the GasBuddy app to fine tune our stops with the best gas price.

The problem is the charging takes like 40 minutes. So one time, you can get food and relax. The second time...not so much. We'd stop 1st at Harris Ranch for lunch on the way up. Our second stop was by the pea soup place off the 5, and you're just sitting the car.

AJ Brown had the 5th highest yards per target in the league last year at 11.1. Speedster Jameson Williams was at 11.

Not sure what else people want

Probably 2 generations (5-6 years in China, a decade here) before EVs are clearly superior to gas.

They're speeding up charge times and battery capacity, but it'll probably take a modification of battery technology to get over the hump, say 500 Mile effective range with 15 minute recharge.

Eventually, because engines are simpler, costs should come down to lower than gasoline powered cars.

But it's coming.

Problem with electric is the cold. And heaters really drain the battery. And charging infrastructure has a long way to go. But 15 minutes to 80% is near in charging speed. But the weight issue is a concern, especially for wear on roads.

We take that opportunity to take a brisk quarter mile walk. If you are stopping every 2 hours then does it still take 40 minutes to do a top off charge. I’d have expected 15 minutes. Reading the Blog takes me at least 15 minutes.

Dallas was 21st and Devonta was 25th in the league. The entire team catch the ball with depth lol

Imagine a brisk quarter mile taking 40 minutes.

What’s a Texas route?

Running back runs out towards the flat, and then cuts back over the middle. It's basically in the shape of a '7' which brings them back across the middle of the field.
