The constant hype that ESPN and the NFL Network does about them all the time gives them the confirmation bias they need to fully buy in to the delusion.

This is my concern about Ringo, hand check, low hip and turn towards the QB.

Theyll have to overcome a lot to maximize the talent on their roster. Theyre still scary though, imo because the talent is certainly there.

Not sure I'd call them scary. They continually try to win due to talent alone. They have talent, but that talent has never coalesced. They remain a bunch of individuals wearing the same clothes much more than a team.

What kind of drugs do that to someone?

I don't understand why he initially negotiated a deal with Jerry alone instead of having his agent do it

What does it mean to sever his relationship with the team? He's under contract and they retain his rights. So, its either a trade or a venture into the CFL or UFL. He's not really able to call the shots. He could also just walk away, but he's never had the big payday like some of the others that retire early.

Would be a nice pipe dream but with the number of picks/players needed (this we could do) but more importantly, what he will need to be paid (this we CAN'T do)......it is only a nice fantasy.

I'm guessing hold out and request a trade. Though that doesn't usually last long once the fines come in

Article didn't mention whether he signed anything when he made the deal with Jerry. Could just be a handshake deal that the agent didn't like and tried to renegotiate but Jerry wasn't listening anymore

I mean, Parsons is 100% in the right here. Jerry shouldn't be negotiating directly with players. Guys hire agents for a reason. Seems Jerry thought he agreed to some lowball number, Parsons thought they were just talking, and now the Cowboys are butthurt and won't engage.

Worst run franchise in the NFL

My understanding is that Jerrah wanted to negotiate directly with Micah rather than the other way around. If Jerrah did that he could reduce the cost by not paying the agent’s 10 per cent commission.

The NFLPA should be screaming for action to be taken against Jerry. You shouldn't go direct to a player like this when he has an agent. In the business world, this is completely off limits -- if someone is represented by counsel, you go through them.

It didn't mention who went to who first but agreed that he should have gone through the agent

Though I guess it's possible that Parsons brought it up. There have been players trying to do it themselves. Seems weird/stupid when you're paying for an agent and not use them though

The bigger issue is they are TERRIBLE in the trenches. The offensive line has one excellent player in Tyler Smith, a serviceable center, 2 below average tackles and an unknown at RG. Dallas' teams from 2014 - 2023 were built on Tyron Smith, Zach Martin and Frederick (before he retired) -- Tyler Smith added to that, but Guyton and Steele are downright bad, though Guyton could improve. On defense, they have Parsons and...what? Fowler can get sacks, but Osa Odighizuwa is the only legitimate DT on the roster.

You can have all the skill position players you want, but if you can't block anyone or stop anyone, you're screwed.

Jerry has been doing this for years and getting away with it. It's malpractice by the NFLPA not to have stepped in earlier.

This really is amazing how Howie was able to build this team.....If you want to argue QB's equal, Top WR's equal the Eagles are better at RB, Secondary, LB's, OL and DL while having ZERO contract issues.

Here in PA, our roads are paid for with liquid fuel taxes. EVs and plug in hybrids are subject to a higher registration fee to make up for lost liquid fuel taxes. I drive a plug in hybrid and I was a early proponent of that fee because when I was chair of the roads committee on Borough Council, I could see the impact fuel efficiency, hybrids were making to our share of liquid fuel taxes and new electric weren’t paying any. Happy to pay my yearly registration fee because it contributes my fair share. Gas taxes (including at the Federal level for the Highway Fund) are user taxes, similar to tolls, and are amongst the fairest of taxes, IMHO.

The galaxy brain politicians over here decided to make EVs exempt from the annual road "tax", and with the incentives they gave to get EVs and home charging kits installed, no one realised in 2 x Govt thought further enough forward to realise they would lose out both on the annual tax, but also the multitude of taxes on fuels by allowing people to use EVs.

So now said galaxy brains are trying to implement a pay by mile scheme on all cars to capture EV and Hybrid owners back in the tax game. We're run by morons

Good development.

I'll be honest that I haven't checked them out in awhile. They used to have a great Oline. I have no idea who is their WR opposite Lamb from memory

Howie also looks down the road multiple years -- Jurgens in 2022 to take over for Kelce in 2 years. Lose Milton Williams but have Ojomo ready to step in. We really have excellent depth and a pipeline to deal with guys we lose. Jerry has to draft a project like Guyton and play him at LT as a rookie...
