The NFLPA should be screaming for action to be taken against Jerry. You shouldn't go direct to a player like this when he has an agent. In the business world, this is completely off limits -- if someone is represented by counsel, you go through them.

Micah should know not to engage in that as well. Both parties are wrong. Micah, from all reports, seemed happy with the discussions with Jerrah, but then likely when his agent looked at the deal, or heard the number, he got bent out of shape for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that it excluded him and his cut.

When things like this happen, its rarely all one party that is in the wrong. Micah shouldn't have engaged when Jerrah tried the end run around the agent. When money comes up, the answer is, "My agent handles that."

What a way to run things.

What does it mean to sever his relationship with the team? He's under contract and they retain his rights. So, its either a trade or a venture into the CFL or UFL. He's not really able to call the shots. He could also just walk away, but he's never had the big payday like some of the others that retire early.

Michael Irvin was on with Rich Eisen and said Jerry should give him a Mahomes type deal…450m/10yrs. If I were Parsons I don’t know if I take that deal. I would want to leave some years for a third contract.

Jerry has been doing this for years and getting away with it. It's malpractice by the NFLPA not to have stepped in earlier.

The NFLPA should have informed the PLAYERS not to engage. And maybe they did. And the players just ignored it for whatever reason they choose.

I'll be honest that I haven't checked them out in awhile. They used to have a great Oline. I have no idea who is their WR opposite Lamb from memory

Lamb and Pickens....again, I was just being nice saying Dak and Hurts are equal (they're not), Lamb/Pickens and Brown/Smith are equal.....I'd still take the Eagles players. And we have a better TE too.

If I were Parsons, I'd play this deal and look to get out of there. Maybe that's the push now with his stance, but if he doesn't play, he doesn't accrue a season and doesn't become a free agent. Then they franchise him... and he has to wait another year, so all this from Parsons might just be a push to get free sooner.

Eh...that's pretty difficult for Micah not to engage with his boss and the owner of the team if he is approached. Power dynamics matter here.

Would be a nice pipe dream but with the number of picks/players needed (this we could do) but more importantly, what he will need to be paid (this we CAN'T do)......it is only a nice fantasy.

I bet Thomas Booker and a 5th gets it done

Again, "My agent handles that." is all that's needed to be said. If Jerrah continues to push, then its a grievable situation, and he likely can win damages.

The galaxy brain politicians over here decided to make EVs exempt from the annual road "tax", and with the incentives they gave to get EVs and home charging kits installed, no one realised in 2 x Govt thought further enough forward to realise they would lose out both on the annual tax, but also the multitude of taxes on fuels by allowing people to use EVs.

So now said galaxy brains are trying to implement a pay by mile scheme on all cars to capture EV and Hybrid owners back in the tax game. We're run by morons

It took us years to get the EV and plug in hybrid charges. Since it is part of our annual registration fee, the straight EVs were already shouldering some of the load in that registration fees factor in vehicle weight as part of the calculation and EVs are heavier than ICE vehicles. We do have to report our odometer mileage when we register our vehicles (every year or two), which I think may at some point factor into the formula. Funny aspect of that is most of my miles are outside of the state.

Mondon may be the steal of the draft

Per Russini's tweet, Parsons thought they were having "conversations," not "negotiations," and told Jerry to go through his agent to negotiate. If you want to say he shouldn't have had any conversations -- well, I agree with you and that's how I would have handled it. But a 26 year old with no business experience being approached by his boss in conversations -- yeah, he's gonna mess that up. If you want to assign blame here, it's 90/10. Jerry has done hundreds of contracts and should know better. Parsons has never done this before.

Yeah, gotta cut down on the post barrages of individual tweets. It makes these blog pages feel like they're spammed. Just post a couple or wait until practice is over and put them all in one post.

I recall when I was working and my work blocked Twitter, how glad I was about @Don Corleone and @LeanMeanGM posting TC tweets. I think that still applies but will take the consensus opinion.

Seeing as I don't use Twitter, X or whatever the f it's called, I like the posts.

I don't understand why he initially negotiated a deal with Jerry alone instead of having his agent do it

Michah Parsons needs to hire Michael Parson to negotiate.

My complaint was only about the duplicates. I don't care about the barrage. That's why I mentioned getting a bot

It's when someone posts a tweet and then someone posts the same tweet either on the same page or sometime later

I think it would be easier to keep track of them in one post is what I'm saying. Then to just have entire pages full of half posts and half tweets. But it's not that big of a deal.

It would be easier if posts with twitter links could be edited so you could add to a post but the new upgrade blocks that for whatever reason.

Um…..that’s peak hurricane season you are feeling, when the trade winds shift.

I'm in NE Florida. I don't want to jinx us, but we very rarely get hurricanes up here. They hit South Florida or the Gulf Coast.

The best outcome for DAL is to trade him while they can…get a couple of 1s and maybe an above average player that can contribute immediately that they can afford to pay. IDK, just tired of all the drama from upper management year after year.

On the old boards DC (believe it was him) used to make a thread for each day of camp I believe, and would post all of the tweets in the initial post.

One solution is to make a thread each day and no discourse goes on until the practice is over so all the tweets are "together", since it sounds like editing a post with an embedded tweet is not an option

I feel like Jerry will tag him. Just seems like what would happen.
