What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

I'm worried. Bad games becoming a habit. Obviously, we should weigh TC practice similar to performances in the SB.

Though to be fair, Hurts didn't face the Eagle defense in the SBs.

What camp are you more in:

Camp A) Given the Eagles are champs, they will be the team that everyone circles on their schedule and spends the entire offseason preparing on how to stop, so the Eagles should have curve balls prepared both on offense and defense in the event teams decide to attack them differently this season.

Camp B) The Eagles win how they win, they do well what they do well, and they can't change that for teams. They should do what they do well and dare other teams to stop it, and if they execute well it won't matter how other teams attack them.

Definitely Camp B. I would change can't to won't. I'm reminded of the Packers in Lombardi's heyday. Everybody knew the power sweep was coming but nobody could stop it. Or Washington with the Hogs and the Counter-trey. The Eagles run an Inside Zone, a Split Zone, and an Outside Zone and those three plays are about 90% of their runs, maybe more. They may dress it up with a pitch - Saquon's TD run on the Eagles' first play against the Commodes in the NFCCG - but it was an Outside Zone. They are so good at it, because of personnel and coaching that teams have to distort their defenses to compensate and when they do you get one-on-one coverage of two great WRs and/or a TE crossing completely uncovered.

On second thought, they may go back to the Power that they ran for years. Last season they ditched the Power for the IZ because Becton was such a monster in the IZ. Steen is not that monster but he may do a better job of pulling. Looking forward to seeing how Stout uses this OL group.

Hope he doesn't go to the Lions or another team who could use him

Is that tweet fake? "Micahh"?

Edit: Looks legit. Wow.

Don't think they will trade him, but this is hilarious nonetheless.

In the event he does get traded I'll say Patriots or Bills.

This isn’t your everyday, garden variety trade request. Very personal. Seems like a lot more than just negotiation tactics.

Yeah, he’s calling them out here. There’s no way he plays another down for them.

I highly doubt they trade him, and I don't think we can afford him, but...you have to call at least.

I want to say this is a contract tactic but he did publicly say he's not happy with what Jerry has said publicly about him

Who knows if a mega contract will mend things. Probably

Not just the affordability part, but you have to assume the price Dallas asks is higher for us than anyone else.

I actually feel Id like Hendrickson more. We have some smallish OLBs, and we have plenty of LB depth. Id love to add an edge rusher, but I think Hendrickson fits the bill better, and would be cheaper.

Do they even have enough to trade for him?

He's a young All Pro

Myles Garrett came back when Cleveland showed him the money, but there wasn't personal animosity like this.

I could see him holding out until week 10, then show up to get the accrued season.

I'd offer James Thrash and a 5th.

Russini definitely getting info direct from the Joneses.

Good thing they still have Michael Parson

Yea Browns were just being cheap. Dallas is being cheap and insulting

2 days, 2 of the eagles top divisional opponents have star players requesting trades. This is good.

I'm not even worried about Hurts. Plus I take it as a sign the defense is really good and could take even another step after being in the system for a year.

I definitely agree with you that the price Dallas would ask of us would be higher than for anyone else. Also, that Hendrickson would be a great addition. Not so sure, though, that our LBs are smallish. These days LBs have to run more than in days of yore and the position trend league-wide is down-sizing. Campbell is definitely not small.

They wouldn't help us or give him what he wants. On top of that they are drafting their butts off here. Keep it rolling.

Schultz getting the leaks from Micah's camps. I still think it ends up with him staying in Dallas, but the chances of him holding out into the season are going up now. Or at the very least not being ready for week 1.

I would trade Nolan Smith and a first for Parsons.

I really like Nolan but he has an issue staying healthy and the Jalen Carter and Micah Parsons on the same defense could be too much for offenses to handle.
