Fair point.

I like your point of view better- Jerry and Harris as owners making stupid contract decisions year after year. Harris may be learning from his Embiid and George contract mistakes which I don't like for WA, but I hope his education burns down WA from within.

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

It would be funny if Bryce Huffs ring button doesn’t do anything

They also don’t dick around. Devin White was unhappy. He was let go. Bryce Huff was unhappy. Traded.

What a trailblazing, innovative concept they created. Reward the players that want to be here and move on from those that don’t.

Maybe not the best example right?

Huff wasn't traded quickly and sat on the team doing nothing

Considering the contract he signed, he was traded extremely quickly. Just about everyone here kept telling me he was going to be back for this season because of his contract.

Also, there was tons of smoke at last years trade deadline that Huff was available. The day after the deadline one of the national guys said Huff was a candidate to be traded in the offseason. Howie couldn’t find the deal that made sense but I have no doubt they listened or tried to trade him even sooner.

There’s the Jalen Carter floor

Carter might get 90 guaranteed

He’s the second highest paid DT lol

But you’re still probably right

Eric Allen getting enshrined in the Hall Of Fame today. Marv Levy turns 100 tomorrow.

Any concern about Jurgens not being able to go week 1? He's still not doing many snaps yet and the season starts in a month.

Always have to have some concern about an OL with back surgery but all indications are this is load management. Like Braun sitting out with a back contusion is probably load management and I would bet that Carter’s shoulder was a level of load management. Same with Dickerson’s ribs. Not saying these aren’t real injuries but that the Eagles are shutting down or limiting players in anticipation of a long season. Not all of them, I suspect Mukuba, McWilliams and Marshall are valid shut downs for real injuries. I would suggest that Cam is closer to those three than the other vets.

Good for Toth

He's under control through the 2027 season. Giving up Tait is a bummer but overall I thought it was a fantastic move to get a legit closer. Not nearly as splashy as Preller's moves but also not nearly as costly either. You could make a strong argument it was the best deadline trade made by any team.

Agreed. Just a shame that they couldn't land the right handed thumper.

I believe that philosophy can be summed up very simply like this...

Are we supposed to assume that it was Kendall who was having trouble with his snaps? If so, that would be disturbing, especially in light of the fact that after he was drafted, Howie made a special point about Kendall’s snapping ability (how it would be nice to not have to worry about the backup center being able to do it if he’s forced to play).

The new stadium should always be referred to as The House that Jalen Built.

Maybe name the exit tunnel after Hurts, like Utley's Corner at the new Shea Stadium.

Because they sign their guys early AND give them significant bonuses and guarantees. Our players trade maximum value for surety. That makes them happy.

Wonder if we can continue to do so with Lurie being cash strapped?

This was the original tweet. It was one bad snap, which shouldn't be concerning for a rookie. However, Toth has been bad-snapping for a few seasons. So one more would reenforce the point of view - assuming it had been Toth in this case.

Apparently, BLG blamed a bad snap on Toth with his (and Kempski’s) normal vitriol against Toth getting any snaps at center. You may have seen my comment with a tweet of his on the subject that practice is to make improvements. So Toth’s response was appropriate as I see it.

Toth is right that we do look to these people for accurate reporting of camp. So getting a name wrong isn't good

Though I guess it's easier to just give the numbers

The team's sixes and eights are hard to distinguish. Remember all the Ertz/Goedert confusion by announcers? The Kelly green font is much better.

More reason to make it the official color!
