In camp today it appears DTR has replaced McCord as 3rd string QB. Kempski speculated that it could be to try to generate trade interest. We'll see. DTR has apparently looked a lot better lately after a slow start and McCord in camp has kinda been meh.

Losing Zach is huge. He and Bo had such great chemistry together. Bo's cringe sense of humor and Zach's serious reporter vibe were a perfect compliment. Fran just bores the hell out of me.

Ojulari is apparently having a meh camp, bit I don't think he's at any risk to not make the team as he's produced in actual games and he's an ex Georgia guy, so

Since the 2000 season, the Eagles have been blessed with Mike Bartrum, Jon Dorenos and Rick Lavato as their LS. 24 seasons and only 3 players manned the position. They were so good that we didn't have to think twice about long snaps on ST. That changed late last year with Lavato however. We're about to learn really quick the importance of that position. Charley Hughlett was a stopgap signing. He's 35 and won't be here long. Now he's hurt and they had to sign a rookie out of App State.

Quick bio check on Christian Johnstone and he was a 2-time All Sun Belt player and made the Tropical Bowl (college all-star game) as well as honorable mention for Special Teams University, whatever that is. He has some accolades for doing his job.

Maybe this injury will be a blessing in disguise and Johnstone can cement himself as the Eagles LS for the next decade. I don't want the Eagles to be playing musical chairs.

Anyone here have knowledge of smoke shops like Tobacco Hut/Tobacco King? We just had our 5th such store open on a 1.2 mile stretch of road. These places NEVER have cars in the parking lot. What could there possibly be a need for that many of the same store in such a small area? They might be some of the most unnattractive retails shops around. Bright LED lights and spotlights so you can see them from miles down the road.

Theyve taken over here too, which is no surprise considering the demographic. I long for the days of banks, useless strip malls, and dollar generals opening everywhere in town. Didnt realize how good we had it back then. Now its vape shops.
