You think Hurts makes it?

NFL players love Hurts. He’ll make it and he’ll be pretty high (5th or 6th QB)

He had a crazy high ranking in 2024 despite the 2023 issues

What’s up, guys? I’ve been quiet on here lately. The truth is, I’ve been going through a rough stretch with my mental health. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything, but with June being Men’s Mental He

Some stuff today from PHLY:

-Uche really impressing as of late. Clearly outplaying Ojulari, and Okoronkwo has as well. (My note: highly doubt Ojulari gets cut, as he got paid more than Uche and has real NFL production in his history).

The wild card in the Ojulari situation is that the Eagles get a 6th Round draft pick in the 2026 Draft if he is cut.

Oh for Fs sake like this will attract sports viewers

They’re trying to attract non-sports viewers. Same reason Super Bowl halftime shows are typically not catered towards middle-aged men.

Hoping NFL+ considers me out of market on Thursday because NBC will be broadcasting the Ravens game and not on Fox or CBS.

I subscribed to Peacock for the preseason and I think the Eagles game is on there. If I had Cable ( I don't) I'd get Philly stations which might make a difference.

I still think he makes the team because we really, really need the depth at edge. But Howie is far beyond the point in his career or reputation where he'd keep a guy on the roster just because it was his move. He won't hesitate to lower the ax.

I wonder to what extent those suffering from anxiety would improve if they "pulled the plug" on their social media accounts, or at least reduced their consumption substantially.

IMO it would have a HUGE impact. We've also become a society of enablers. Instead of saying suck it up and deal with issues like an adult, we say go get a therapy parrot and take it everywhere.

I was about to ask, somewhat in jest, who will be the most valuable player to this team that will actually play snaps this week. Because we all know everyone is sitting.

And then I remembered that Nolan Smith was playing in the 4th quarter (and playing poorly) last preseason.

That’s a second prospect this year i tested better than! WHY DID I NOT GET DRAFTED!

The story I heard from the scouting circles I run in was that the word on you was that you spent too much time on an internet message board. TIFWIW.

I'm pretty sure ESPN isn't trying to attract the EMB crowd with this hire.

If they were they'd have her in a bikini and maybe some photo shop work.

😁

It's coming. Bikini, yacht, and the Minnesota Vikings.

I want to see Ainias Smith get as much burn as he can. Be it at WR, PR, KR. He can add value to this team by being a depth peice on the WR chart and the returner, all saving a roster spot for depth somewhere else. Hurts seems to be trusting a lot and working with him quite a bit after practice too. Would love to see him show up.

I'd create some content with her

Elliott

DeVonta Smith is my spirit animal.

Schefter— Trade: Raiders are sending CB Jakorian Bennett to the Eagles in exchange for DT Thomas Booker IV, per sources.

I guess Eagles like their DT depth. I liked Booker. Oh well. Know little about Bennett.

So Ringo bad?

Cam Robinson coming along as well as hoped and Gabe Hall almost assuredly makes the roster now. Guessing they want more depth at CB in case.

Cousin, son, nephew of the previous Bennett we had?

I thought Booker had a chance to be a good player.

They bring this guy on to start? I can’t imagine trading a starting caliber CB for a backup 2-down DT

Expanding on Carroll’s preference at CB, he looks for at least 6 feet tall with 32 inch arms. Bennett is 5-11 and has 32 7/8 arms. He really isn’t that far off, so I guess maybe something else is at play? Maybe he isn’t physical enough?

Tashan Reed (Raiders beat guy): Bennett played well last year, but suffered a season-ending torn labrum. This year, he lost ground in the #Raiders' CB battle. He was fourth behind Eric Stokes, Darien Porter and Decamerion Richardson.
