Was reminded about this on Twitter… former Eagles execs Brandon Hunt and Anthony Patch were hired by the Raiders this offseason.

This is probably reading way too much in to it, but if Gabe Hall is coming on and can earn some reps on gameday, he could be a guy they hope continues to ascend to take over for Jordan Davis next year. Jordan Davis is going to get paid and I'm not sure Howie is going to pay both Davis and Carter.

I like the trade, they probably don’t lose much from Booker to Hall. But it is a little disconcerting no one has run away with the CB job. Perhaps they should have just kept Slay. Hope they don’t end up regretting letting him go.

I don’t think Hall profiles as a run-stuffing NT. He was 290 at the combine and isn’t known as a good run defender.

For some reason I thought he was a big boy at 330 or so.

Bennett having two years left on a rookie deal is a nice benefit too.

That's a heck of a trade if he's good enough to be cb2. Sounds like he has the talent but Pete Carroll likes certain measurables for his cbs.

If anything, Isaiah Rodgers would be the one who got away. He got more than I expected, but still cheap for a starting corner.

Literally no numbers left on the roster for Bennett. It's time to get 9 back in rotation.

@mattwill remember a couple weeks back when you said the Eagles wouldn't make amy trades because their roster is flawless?

Yeah I was surprised at that one.

My Raiders friends are very, very displeased. Say he is a stud who got lost in the Carroll shuffle after his injury.

Carter, Davis, Ojomo, Robinson, Hall.

DT is set.

All Bennett has to be is Isaiah Rodgers with any ball skills whatsoever. Gonna miss Booker though, he's legit. Really hope Gabe Hall is who they think he is.

If Bennett was just a bad scheme fit and the medical checks out, this seems like a clear win-win for all parties. Booker is gonna get legit snaps in LV, and the door is wide open for Bennett here.
